I just completed the reviews on the crib and 5 drawer dresser and I don't have any complaints about this piece either. Its a perfect match with crib and dresser. My husband recommends using L brackets and wood glue to reinforce vertical support. I recommend using self adhesive felt pads for inside of drawers to quiet proof them. The color "expresso" is beautiful and the grain gives it character. The small thing I like is that when your child gets older you can remove the changing pad rack, so you have just a normal dresser. My husband and I are very pleased with this 3 piece set.
It took some time to put together but it is well worth the effort. It is a beautiful dresser/changer. The same quality as the more expensive brand but $70 less.
We have the set of crib, changer and dresser. This same set at BRU was hundreds of dollars more! The changer is easy to assemble (approx 1 hr) and sturdy when complete. The top changer tray is removable but screws in the back for stability while you are still using it. The wood is of good quality (although I would have liked for the bottom of the drawers to be a bit more solid. We would buy this again!

After reading through all the reviews, I felt confident enough to purchase both this and the crib. It is everything I thought-color was perfect, very sturdy and looks a lot more expensive then it really is. I'm so happy Walmart got on board and made a cute, modern nursery set that fits most budgets. When I tell people I got it from Walmart they don't believe me! We did the site-to-store and it came in very quick, picked it up with no problem and nothing was damaged. Put the whole set together in an hour. We did use wood glue to reinforce like some of the other reviews suggest. The only problem I'm having is finding a changing pad that fits on the top, and some sort of storage bin that I can drape over the side for diapers and everything else I need. Baby isn't here yet so haven't had a chance to actually try things out but I'm sure everything will be great. THANKS WALMART!
Just purchased this to go with Baby Mod ParkLane 3-in-1 Crib. Had previously been using a pack-n-play for our infant's changing table and crib. Being 5'8, my back would always kill me from bending over the changing table in the pack-n-play. Now I can comfortably change diapers with this Drawer/Changing Table.
I just received this dresser today via site to store. I have to say site to store is the best thing ever! Product was in perfect condition, box wasn't damaged, and the product parts were very well packed. We got it home and I started putting it together, alone it took about an hour for me at 22 wks pregnant. Be warned if you are not an expert at assembling furniture this one will frustrate you. It has instructions that must be read and followed; the parts are not labeled such as part A or this side up or left/right. You must look at the illustrations closely; there is not extra hardware with it either, so if you lose something you will have to contact the manufacturer. The dresser is pressed wood/particle board on the sides and bottom, doesn't look it at all though! The top and drawer fronts are solid wood, the casing of the drawers is very soft wood with 1/8” pressboard bottoms. You do not need an electric screwdriver for this piece, the holes are sufficient and the wood truly is very soft and will scratch and strip easily. The changer top is packed in a separate box so if you don't want to use it you won't have lose parts to worry with. The changer itself looks similar to a TV tray; it has a 1/8 inch thick board on the bottom so when lifted off it's not just a frame. It has a brace across the center under the bottom and small skid pads around the edge. It measures inside 31 3/8” wide, 16 ½” front to back and 2 ¼” deep, it is a bit smaller than the actual top of the dresser. There are 2 brackets and screws included to secure it to the back of the dresser. I sat it on top without the screws and with pressure on it, it would not slide. Considering the wood you may want to put something under it to pad the top so the brace doesn't scratch the top. The drawers are huge inside they are 29 ½” wide, 15” front to back and 6 inches deep. They are very loud when you shut them, if you just let go they will slam so may need felt or cork to quiet them. They seem very sturdy but once again, the wood is very soft and light, the bottom is pressboard so this is not some heavy duty item that will hold a ton of weight, but several packs of wipes don't seem to bend it. There is sufficient room underneath the bottom that support could be added if you're a handy person. Once the entire thing is together it seems very sturdy and easy to move as it has plastic slides on the bottom of the feet. I have already begun to put away some things in it and it can hold quite a bit. It has a beautiful dark finish truly a dark coffee color, no red hue to it. We also got the Baby Mod Parklane 3-1 crib and they match perfectly. We are very happy with this item so far and hope it will last quite some time.
When we got this to go with the Parklane dresser, they matched perfectly and have such a beautiful color! The set up wasn't bad, and it came to our house promptly after ordering. Here are my two complaints: The wood is soft as others have mentioned, so be careful when you assemble it because it can scratch. My other complaint is that the drawers are a little flimsy and tend to wobble. Baby is not here yet, so we haven't really used it either. However, we got such a great deal on it...you kind of get what you pay for. Our other furniture is of high quality, from local furniture stores, but also comes with the price tag. I feel this dresser will be the perfect thing to get our newborn going for a couple on a budget! I would buy again.
Beautiful finish on this dresser. Easy to put together and looks much more expensive.
Took my husband and I less than two hours to put together. If you're not experience with putting furniture together, get someone who is. Quality is great except for the drawer gliders. And yes the drawers will slam, so i recommend adding felt or rubber thingy to prevent the loud bang. Would definitely recommend this product.
