Easily put together took maybe 5 mins. Was a little unhappy to notice the gate only connects to the right side of the rail for the toddler bed.
After having purchased a Carter's crib in the Walmart store I read on the box that the conversion kit was only available online. This is the only online choice I could purchase of the Carter's brand. UNFORTUNATELY this does not fit the crib I had purchased. (It was the crib and changing table combined in one box.) So I had to return the conversion kit and we "converted" the crib to a youth bed on our own. Very disappointing.
