Love this bed was easy to put together all screws matched took maybe 5 mins My 15 month old loves it everyday she wakes up now say Door Door she cant get Dora out just yet! would recommended to anyone.
my 20 month old loves it!!! so cute
I was a little hesitant about buying this item after reading some of the reviews, but I went ahead and bought it because my 2 yr old is a dora fanatic! it took my husband about an hour and a half at the most to build it. it was really easy to build, and it its very sturdy i guess it depends on how well you put it together because i had read other reviews where they said it was very flimsy.very girly and cute! once it was up and in her room my daughter loved it! she literally was on her bed all day!
Despite all of the negative reviews, I purchased this bed for my daughter, because she's a Dora fanatic! I opted for the site to store shipping because its free and my order came in 1 week. The assembly was straight forward and easy for me to do alone (being a mom who never puts anything together). My total asemble time was about 1 hour, I used a power drill which made it much easier and faster. The canopy is the most adoreable feature, and the bed is equally cute. Both parts are sturdy and durable for long term use. The price was a steal therefore, I am completely satsified with this item, and so is my daughter!
I was a little hesitant after reading some reviews but my 5 yr old specifically asked for this bed so I ordered it. I must say I was impressed for the most part. It came on the exact day it was expected to come. The directions were very straight forward ( especially when you organize) The finished product looked exactly like the box shows. I think I got more than what I paid for. The only drawback was the plastic connectors for the canopy were not that sturdy (minor issue). My daughter loves this bed so regardless it was well worth it.
I want to start out by saying my 2yr old LOVES this bed. Putting the bed together was as simple as any other toddler bed, it took me about 30 min by myself. However the canopy instructions are not very clear and once I figured them out I then spent another 30 min trying to put it together. The screws for the canopy are TINY, so small in fact that I kept dropping them. Once I finally got it all together the cheap little plastic dowel plugs broke with in 24 hours. My brother in-law bought wooden dowels to place inside the canopy rods and it works great.
The bed is fine, overall. You get what you pay for, and for the price, it's not bad. The only problem is that the canopy is indeed, garbage. More specifically, the rods holding up the canopy, are garbage. Other than that, it's a nice little first-big-girl bed for any toddler who loves Dora as mine does.
It took my husband and myself 4 hours to put this toddler bed together!!! The poles are not labeled and the instructions are confusing. When we got to the canopy part, the holes would not match up with the screws and we had to force or drill them in. The canopy is very weak and only looks nice.
When I bought this item I figured it would be a simple item to assemble. Well I was wrong. Not only are the instructions not clear but the holes for the screws to fit into the cross bars for the bottom portion of the bed werent lined up correctly and made assembly very frustrating. Not only that but the bars were not properly spaced and it made it very difficult for us to place the bottom portion correctly on the foot and headboard. To add to that the instructions showed 2 of the same sized screws in the picture but included four different types of screws of all shapes and sizes. Which was confusing for us. After going on the internet i found instructions that made assembly much easier. It also didnt include the allan wrench and we had to find another that would fit it. Over all this product once assembled is safe and very cute however the process of assembly is a pain in the neck!
Fairly flimsy - canopy connections will break easily
