Wanted to get step multi-function fitness tracker... not that we are in amazing shape, but to get a handle on how we were doing. Just had trouble pulling the trigger on devices costing hundreds of dollars. We settled on FitBit Zip, and were able to purchase two for less than many higher end devices. The Zip provides all the info we were hoping, and with the on-line and smartphone app, gives you great insight on your journey! Highly recommend this device for those (like us) looking to track your daily progress without having to seriously dent the bank account.
I love my Fitbit Zip--thanks to it, I've increased my exercise and can quantify what I'm doing daily. There's something very satisfying about being able to actually see what you're doing in numbers and time. I've wanted one of these for a while, but it is even better than I thought it would be. Walking over five miles daily--no problem.

This was purchased as a gift for my daughter. She wanted a basic pedometer. This Fitbit does so much more for a great price! I love ordering from Sams because they ship so promptly!
This is my 2nd fit bit zip, bought this one for my daughter , I like it so much , and am sure she will too.
Great little product!! Small enough to "hide" anywhere and the clip is great to secure anywhere without being afraid it will fall off.
I was looking for a fitbit but tried on the wrist ones and didn't like the way they felt and the idea of them tracking my sleep. The fitbit zip is exactly what I was looking for! It is small and clips on my pants and you can't see it. The reason I didn't give it five stars is because I think the app could use some updating especially when it comes to logging food. I do like that it syncs with myfittnesspal app which has a good food log. I have used it for two weeks and have not had any problem getting the fitbit to sync to my android phone (Samsung galaxy).
OK for basic step counting and calories burned. The app has a hard time tracking the device.
I bought this about a month ago and I really like it. The issues I have are getting it to sync with my phone. I usually have to restart the Bluetooth at least twice before it can sync. Obviously, it would be more convenient if I could just look at it, but, I wanted to get into the tracking mode first to see if I really will keep it up!
My Fitbit Zip never worked right from the minute I took it out of the package I replaced the battery three times in less than a month, and it still refused to hold a charge for more than a few days. It would reset my data randomly throughtout the day, losing my step count and displaying the wrong time. Very frustrating.
