I'm a first time grandmother and wanted a inexpensive crib for my house, I really liked this one, but was afraid because of some of the reviews about how hard it was to put together. Well I did order it and I'm really glad that I did. It was excellent!! I put most of it together alone and then asked for help holding the sides up. It took about 1 hour, how hard is that? It looks beautiful and isn't damaged or marked up at all. I also liked the ship to site, with no shipping. Saved quite a bit on shipping doing that. I certainly would recommed this crib to my friends.
I received this crib while I was still pregnant with my daughter, who is now 1. This crib has done very well. The only issues that we have had is when it first arrives the smell of paint was pretty strong, so it needed to air out for at least a week. It also scratches easily. The drop side works very well, and we have never had any problems out of it. It was pretty quiet too, so we never woke up our daughter by sliding up the side. Plus I love that it can convert into a toddler bed as well. For the money, I definitely recommend this crib.
I was very concerned this product would come chipped and cracked due to other reviews. I as very surprised that it came well packaged and had no problems to it at all! It was very easy to put together, the directions very clear. We were able to do the crib and the bedding all in about 30-45 minutes. Although my step son (8 years old) and I had to put half of it together ourselves (the OSU UofO game was on), it was easy to do and he was excited to help me with it. It is truely so easy a child could do it. The only thing that i might see as an issue is that you do need two people to really put the first part easily together because you have to screw it together. Even with the 8 year old helping I could have easily done it myself (I am 7 months pregnant). Just what we were looking for and very sturdy. We were surprised at the great quality and it matches perfectly with our dresser.
I'm eight months pregnant and just received the crib last week. My husband and I put it together in about an hour and didn't have any problems. The crib seems sturdy and the dropside works great. It is exactly as described and I am very satisfied with it. I would say it is comparable in value with some of the more expensive models I looked at in other stores. This crib is sold in many other stores but Walmart had the best price on it. I ordered it site to store and picked it up about 10 days later. Very easy to do!
We purchased this crib for our 4th child. It's pretty, sturdy and works great.
I LOVED IT! IT TOOK ME AND MY HUBBY ABOUT AN HOUR TO PUT IT TOGETHER BUT IT WAS SIMPLE. THE ONLY THING THATS ANNOYING IS TO DROP DOWN SIDE...ITS HARD TO LOCK IT IN PLACE. BUT OTHER THAN THAT, I CAN'T WAIT TIL MY BABY BOY SLEEPS IN IT! :)
I am a picky chooser, it took me months to pick my baby girls crib, i was looking for something nice, not bulky and within our budget. I was a bit afraid to buy it 'caused i had never bought furniture online but i dont regret it, is very nice crib, my hubbs put it all together in less than half hour, it features 3 position mattress height adjustment, & one handed easy-slide drop side. I'm having a c-section so this will be very helpul for me. Is also very sturdy. I was going to buy a $450 crib that i had seen in another store but am glad i didn't, we save alot of $ and we use the rest of the $ to buy the matress and bedding and other needful things. I say if u looking to save $ don't look no more, beautiful crib!!
I'm a mom to be and we looked at all kinds of baby beds. This item caught my eye because of the one hand rail that can go up and down. When we received the item, it felt like it took forever to put together. I think if the pictures would be more clear and the pieces where labeled differently then it wouldn't have taken long to put together. Then when I seen how you use the hand rail I thought you had to be a gymnest to work it, but I'll figure it out soon. I know my son would like it.
I ordered this for my soon-to-arrive baby boy b/c his big sister is still using our other crib. It arrived very quickly w/ the 97cent shipping and was in great shape except for a few dings w/ no real damage to the paint. It was fairly easy to assemble, though my husband struggled with putting the front on b/c he said something about the plastic pieces didn't quite meet up properly. No real biggie though as he got the job done, albeit it w/ a bit of cursing I'm sure ;-) I should add that I do not plan to ever use the dropside as I am 5'5 and my first crib didn't have one and I was just fine w/ that. Therefore, I can't fairly review that aspect of the crib. I don't care for the plastic caster wheels, and will probably remove those in future, though it is still quite sturdy/non-rickety on top of our carpeting. The beadboard on the sides is ADORABLE! It did make it slightly harder to attach the bumper, but again, no biggie in the end. We bought the Safety First Sweet Dreams crib/toddler mattress off this site to go with, and it was a PERFECT fit! Nice and firm too-- a steal at $39! This is, of course, not heirloom-quality nursery furniture, but for what you pay it's a great deal. Love that it converts to a toddler bed for future.
The paint on the crib ran. There were some parts of the crib that had no paint it. The overall paint job was no good.
