When we originally saw this set online we were a little wary - it seemed incredibly cheap. But after a good friend purchased it for her son, we decided to give it a try. We set it up last week and it is perfect for us. Our nursery is pretty small but everything fits perfectly and we find it to be very durable and attractive. Our only problem is with raising and lowering the side of the crib, it will stick sometimes but we don't anticipate using that option too much.
I bought this set knowing it's no fancy crib set and when my husband put it together I was actually surprised how much I really liked it! It is actually very similar to most of the pricey crib sets! I absolutely love this crib set! My daughter is a year old now and I still love it! I will be buying this set for my son also!
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this product. Not only was the furniture all packaged into one big box (I would recommend using a truck or van when picking up). The instructions we're easy to follow and the individual parts for each item were packaged clearly with the tools you needed to assemble each item! We had it shipped Site to Store, which turned out to be a great deal. The employees helped us out to our vehicle and also helped us load. All of the screws were marked with a letter and individually packaged for each item of funiture. I read the instructions and he assembled. It turned out to be a fun project for us to do together and was simple enough to do alone if need be. It definetly added to the excitement of having a baby. All the items were in great condition, no scratches or dents. Even the box was in great condition. I would definetly recommend this product and also the Site to Store option, it definetly added to the furniture arriving in such wonderful condition.
This is such a bargain priced set of furniture to start out your nursery. It was very easy to put together, the dresser was slightly different than pictured, but still matches and looks great. We had to call customer service to have a piece sent to us, since one of the drawers on the dresser didn't quite slide right, but they were so helpful and sent the replacement within 6 business days. I would recommend a thicker changing table pad, but that's just my preference. You will love this...also I purchased in store, and website says only available online, so I was really blessed...check with your local store to see if they possibly have in stock!
I was excited when I first saw that Walmart offered a nursery set for only $200 that included crib, changing table and dresser. I actually put this set together myself with a little help and it was relatively easy! I think for the dresser I had to do a little creative adjustments to get the drawers to move freely but it works beautifully. Also after a while one of the changing table shelves kind of fell through, but i crazy glued it to the joint and it's good to go! It looks great and believe me it's more than worth the money!
I am a first-time mom with a budget. I wanted a complete collection of bedroom furniture for my son. I love the price (cant beat it). I put together the whole set by myself (no more than 2 hours). The set looks wonderful! The only problem is that the 2nd drawer on my dresser doesnt open. Very sturdy and pretty wood for the price. GREAT BUY!
The crib set goes great with our decor and was the cheapest but best thing to buy when you have to buy 2 of everything! We were able to get 2 of everything without paying the outragious price for it. You can barely buy a single crib for the price you pay for this entire set (and it comes with a dresser and changing table). The only problem we found is the dresser drawers doesnt slide out as easy as i thought they would. You have to actually use both handles to open it or it gets stuck and wobbles. This is sometimes hard to do when you are holding the baby.
My family was very skeptical when I put this set on my registry but I was confident with the reviews that I read that it would be exactly what I was looking for. I was right, my husband was able to put it together in one evening and everything is sturdy and fairly well made. The dresser is top heavy but it now comes with a strap that you attach to the wall so I feel a whole lot safer. My only complaint is that the drop down bar on the crib doesn't go down smoothly but that might either be operator mal-function or the way we put it together but I probably won't use the bar all that often anyway. Overall this is a very good buy for the money and I would recommend this to everyone.
the one i got the crib rails didnt have a place to screw in the screw on the bottoms.. just a hole no metal to hold the screw and the same with the dresser but that was missing like 5. i used wood glue on the dresser but the crib they are ganna have to do something send me a new one.
Like everyone said, you get exactly what you paid for. If you're only going to spend $200 on a 3 piece set, obviously it's not going to be top notch quality, but it gets the job done if you're not willing to spend an arm and a leg on baby furniture. With the changing table, be careful not to put anything too too heavy on the shelves because they will fall through. The dresser drawers are a little hard to open but that's about the only thing wrong with it. And the crib, the only complaint I have is that the drop side is a little difficult to pull up and down.
