This crib has two stationary sides (as stated in the description) and that makes it very sturdy. There are five different heights so even without a drop side it's easy to get the baby in and out. Ours arrived with a few dings in it but nothing terrible. It was much easier to put together than our old crib.
My husband & I are expecting our first, twins. After hours of research on line, I chose this crib even though there were far less reviews than other models. Money was not an issue, however taking the advice of many friends & family w/children, spending too much more is simply a waste. So here's our review; ~they arrived a week earlier than expected, we did the site to store shipping (why spend the $ if you dont have to?) ~there were no scratches or dings on the wood ~ took my husband about 30minutes to put together... by himself ~the color is gorgeous --- slightly darker color in person, but not much....more of a dark honey than just oak. ~ sturdy
This crib is really nice, and very sturdy. I love the fact that it doesn't have the drop side. It is a very nice color of wood, and was very easy to put together. We did it in about 20minutes.
The crib was easy to assemble and perfect for my daycare. It is not wabbly or cheaply made. love it love it.
Got this crib, after returning an expensive crib from BRU. So far, exceeds our expectations. It's low price made me think the quality would be shabby, but it is comparable to the quality of the BRU crib that was more than twice the price. Very sturdy. A few very minor dinks, but not even noticeable after we put it together. Besides, any crib we'd get would get scratches from the dog, or from teething toddlers. And for this price, who cares, as long as it's sturdy, and will last. Which we believe it will -- my hubby used to work in a high-end furniture factory, and so, he knows about building high-quality furniture. And he feels this crib will keep our baby safe. Crib is easy to put together. I don't know what the other guy was talking about with "sawed off" parts. Nothing sawed off. Nice rounded tops. 3 positions for the mattress, and a non-drop-side make this crib great. Also great that it turns into a toddler bed and then a day bed. Also, looks alot better in person than it does on the online photo.
We are first time parents and also value shoppers. We did a lot of research and budget shopping to find the crib for us and baby. We ended up with this one and love it. It went together super easy and is easy to adjust when the time calls for it. Yes, it doesn't have drop down sides, but if anyone did any research they would see that 80% of cribs with drop down sides have been recalled at one point or another for BAD things. It called bend over or flip the mattress up. seeing the crib box shows you that it doesn't have drop down sides, so don't buy it..
just got this crib today and love it! Arrived in good condition,only had one small scratch on it.I havent used it yet as baby isnt due till december.boyfriend assembled in about 20 min.overall a great crib for the price and comes with wheels to put on the legs if you want to use them.
Love this crib! Not scratched, looks great. Love the no-drop side. As someone mentioned, most get recalled, and let's face it. I have 4 kids, and never once dropped the side of the crib! Easy to put together, even as my 2 year old was trying to 'help' :) Sturdy. In a nutshell - a great buy!
This is definitely a good product. It's inexpensive, easy to put together and well made. The only downside is that it doesn't have a moveable rail, but it tells you that in the product details. Read negative reviews and hesitated to buy, but I'm glad we bought this particular crib because it is an all around good crib and we are definitely getting our use out of it.
I'm very happy with this crib. I am 59 years old and disabled, but still managed to put it together myself in less than an hour. I did need an extra pair of hands when fitting a few of the nuts into the barrel bolts. This crib is sturdy and has plenty of room. I also took advantage of the 97 cent shipping charge and was delighted with all the money I saved. Highly recommend this crib.
