This dresser looks great in the baby room!!! We did not have any problems putting it together and it is very durable. The drawers slide in and out very nicely. I am very pleased with the purchase!
I purchased the graco lauren crib & changing table, I searched several sites wasnt able to find nothing that I liked that matched with collection, this dresser is worth the price & matches perfectly with the collecton. It took several hours to put together but it was definitely worth it. I am so glad that I waited instead of ordering something else.
I do think the dresser was a little overpriced in comparison to the matching crib. It took forever to put together... but at least assembly was easy. Also, the drawer bottoms were scratched when we received them... but luckily, they go on the inside of the drawers, so we didn't bother with returning them. All in all, it's a very nice dresser... I just think it's about $100 overpriced.
I wanted a dresser to match the crib and changing table I recently purchased from Walmart. This dresser matches perfectly. It is very easy to assemble, however, I could not have done it on my own (husband to the rescue!). My only issue is the drawers do not easily slide in/out without a little bit of force. But overall, the product is exactly what I wanted, and it serves its purpose for my 10 month old daughter.
My husband just finished putting this dresser together. It was a nightmare. He had to dig deeper openings in the back frame, otherwise the screws wouldn't fit (therefore there was no way to attach the sides to the back frame). The bottom rail of the front frame is warped (bowes out)- that drawer won't close all the way. I cannot comment on how sturdy the product is because I haven't used it. It matches the Graco Lauren crib perfectly and looks good aside from the bottom drawer. The crib is a great investment; you can't get a better crib for the price. I love it! It is beautiful, light weight, and sturdy. I would definitely recommend the crib, the dresser, not so sure about. I believe the dresser is overpriced for what you get.
The dresser was damaged in several places in shipping. From what I could tell it looked like it would have been a decent dresser. We considered reordering it, but after reading the reviews again we are going to wait.
My husband just finished putting this dresser together and if it wasn't such a hassle I would send it back. For the money paid for it I am not happy with the way it looks. Every drawer has a mark on it or marks from nails. I am going to have to find a wood pen that matches the color to cover up the marks. I have another dresser that was half the price that looks much better than this one.
This dresser has not met my expectations at all, with the exception of it matches my Graco Lauren crib and changing table perfectly. The manufacturer included a defective piece that limited my ability to build the dresser drawers. I will say that when I called Graco/Lajobi (I also had a problem with the crib I ordered), they sent me the correct drawer piece. The drawers are not smooth opening and closing and one of the drawers does not close all the way. I have had better quality IKEA furniture! What are the chances that both Graco pieces of nursery furniture I ordered are defective? Very poor craftmanship and attention to detail. I can't recommend this company and won't be using them in the future! Buyer beware!
We purchased this dresser and used the site to store pick up. While putting it together, we found that the back part of one of the drawers had holes only drilled on one side. So we followed the Lajobi instructions for a defective part and emailed all the info and pictures. We received an automatic response that we would be contacted within 48 hours. We never were. So I decided to contact them. The customer service rep said they had our info and email and would contact us when they were going to send a piece out. After 2 weeks of no contact, I called back again. This time the customer service rep said there was no record of our email on the defective piece. She was very nice and said that she would ups the piece out to us. We got the piece about 5 days later, but the piece had absolutely no holes drilled in it and it was 3 inches too short. We emailed again the info along with the previous email info. Again...we got a reply that we would be contacted within 48 hours. Still no response! Other than the fact we have a 5 drawer chest with 4 drawers...it is a nice color and was easy to assemble. We are hoping to get the right piece so we can have a complete dresser. Otherwise, it's going back to Walmart.
The only good thing about this dresser is that it matches the rest of our nursery furniture. There are large scratches all over the dresser and the trim work falls off if you touch it. I have tried to contact lajobi (the manufacture) and have yet to hear back from them about a solution..very poor customer service. I just feel that if I am going to spend this kind of money on a product it would be of higher quality.
