I love this new item they sell. I got one and it is wonderful how it covers the whole changing table at stores/restaurants and how it rolls up. My favorite part is how I just throw it in the wash when I get home if needed. I ended up getting another one too incase one is in the wash, then I have one ready to go. With babies it is great if there is a little accident while changing. The pad soaks up the urine instead of the plastic ones where it lays in a puddle and gets all over the child.
I have used this product from the day my son was born. I love that my son does not slide around on it unlike other changing pads. I love that it is large enough to cover the entire length of his body so I do not have to worry about him touching those diaper changing stations in public restrooms! It is 100% cotton so it is very soft and it goes right into the washing machine. I have washed it numerous times and it comes out great every time! It rolls up very compact so it can fit in any bag, this is a must have item for every parent!
I bought this product thinking it would be softer, especially for the price. However, it does get the job done and keep my baby away from germs when I change her in public bathrooms. Easy maintenance--just throw it in the wash! For the same price, you can buy a 4-piece flannel set and use that as a cheaper alternative.
The changing pad is very thin and doesn't really look like the picture. It is less then a half inch thick and isn't very wide either. I wouldn't have gotten it had I known it looked like it did. Haven't used it yet though but it does match my stroller and diaper bag.
I purchased this because like any other mother, I didn't want my child being changed on a dirty surface. The inside is terry cloth so it was okay, maybe a little rough and I'm sure it would be a nightmare to clean. I ended up returning it because it was big and bulky. My main concern was that you had to fold it in half, roll it up, and then tie it before you could put it away. Since it was big and bulky being folded and tied, I knew I couldn't just cram it in the diaper bag and go. I thought it was goofy because I couldn't imagine myself holding my child and trying to put that thing away! I bought one that it more flat, folds in 3 places and is a breeze! I would tell others to think about it before you buy it! I'm sure it's nice but it's HUGE and hard to put back!
