Had some installation issues but, the customer service of both Real Truck and Aries were excellent. Install perfectly after some tips from Aries customer service. The only negative could say is the instructions are worse than Swedish furniture, also they are photocopied and pictures are not clear.
Was looking for steps for my truck,so I purchased these steps.They look great and fit perfect.I have had 4 surgery's in the last 14 months 2 on my ankles and 2 on my shoulder and they have made my life a lot easier getting in and out of my truck.I diffentley would buy from this company again,I got exactly what they said I would. They are diffently rock solid and looks great.Thanks real truck for a great product!
Received in timely manner. Fit exactly per good instructions. Looks great. Wife can now get in truck without assistance. Haven't had long enough to determine durability etc. Thank you RealTruck.
Look amazing on my 1990 Chevy K5. Very easy to put on . Very well packaged and quick delivery.
The nerf bars I installed replaced some old nerf bars that went on this truck was it was new in 1998. They were rusted and looked bad. The new nerf bars look great but feel considerably lighter than the old ones I removed. I have to say that the installation instructions could easliy be improved and all be on the same page as they are now. On top of the they are advertised as "NO DRILL" installation which is flat not true. No way any human being can get the so called "self drilling" screws to get through the body metal to mount the top half of the angle supports. I did have to drill a pilot hole.
Installation instructions were pretty vague. It took alot of guess work, especially since I've never done anything like it. Once I figured it out the passenger side took about 5 minutes. These things look GREAT and make it alot easier to get in and out of the truck.
These bars are exactly what I was looking for. Mounting to the cab mounts are by far stronger than the panel mounts! The only thing I wish they came with were some type of "cover" for the end of the bar where they attach to the bracket. I'm afraid after time that dirt, snow, salt, gravel, and moisture will build up inside the bar and corrode from the inside out.
Very easy install, look and feel like good quality. Price reasonable. Fit very tight to the truck like I wanted. 👍
The bars are very nice but I had to buy all new spring clips as half of them were misaligned and nearly impossible to get the bolt started, two of them broke. Three of the brackets didn't allow enough height clearance to get them bolted on without forcing them. I am having my sheet metal contractor make all new ones. Think they will be nice once he gets them done.
Cheap product. Stay away. Front mounting brackets are not shaped correctly for 2000 Expedition as advertised(believe me, I can follow directions). After battling misfit brackets and finally getting them mounted the bars themselves are VERY cheap. They bow like a diving board (I only weigh 195 lbs). I'll be shocked if they last on year.
