Fit perfectly and sound good
Added these to my Harley after a mishap damaged OEM speakers. Good fit and a noticeable upgrade in sound quality at a bargain price.
My friend wanted background music for her new restaurant. With 2 big dining rooms, I needed 4 speakers for each room and her budget didn't allow for commercial speakers. I wanted white (to match the ceiling tiles) 2-way speakers at a reasonable price. I also wanted a high enough power rating so if the cleaning shift cranked it up, it wouldn't blow the speakers. The system was to be mono and each room was 1 channel (left or right), and I wired each room's speakers in series-parallel to maintain impedance. When I tested it with my MP3 player and the client's home 150W amp, I was amazed. Great bass, sharp highs.. I expected it to be a little muddled with such inexpensive speakers mounted in acoustical tiles, but it was crisp. It made the rest of my work there a lot more fun with great tunes to listen to.. cranked it up.
Installed them on my travel trailer they sound great and for the price you can't beat it
I set up a new stereo system in my pontoon this year. I purchased a new West Marine stereo then added 4 of these Boss Speakers. The sound is clear, has good bass response and they don't distort when turned up. Installation was very easy. For the price and sound quality, I highly recommend.
I was surprised to find out that this price was for a pair of speakers! And Marine too?! We needed to replace the factory outside speakers in our toyhauler. The old ones had seen much better days. When we took the old ones out we seen that they were just speakers, not marine type. So these new Boss Marines should outlast by far, and the sound is better than ever!
I would recommend this to my friends.
For the price they are great. They will likely out perform stock speakers on your boat, but still not a very high end quality as far as sound goes. Build quality does seam sterdy.
way better speakers than what I thought I was going to get.Very good buy for the price.Very good replacement speakers that what I was using them for.Had to cut a little larger hole for them to fit but that was expected
Never got the chance to hear the speakers because they came without wires to connect them to my stereo. It was not that they were missing; they simply don't include them with the speakers. I ordered another brand and they came with wires. Sorry BOSS but you are not doing your customers justice.
