I received the close ties carrier for free in exchange for an honest review! We have tried it several times and we really like it! My daughter likes that I can carry her on my hip! And I like that it extremely adjustable for a customized fit!
I have received the Close Ties Carrier from Infantino to facilitate my review. This review is still my own thoughts. I have bought and tried multiple infantino baby carriers and didn't like most. This one I love. It's easy to get a great fit unlike most where the panel height is good but the width is off. I usually use woven wraps so the woven material is a nice touch. Cuz tried it with my 30 lb 2 year old and 12 lb 1 month old. I was comfortable with both.
I have owned a wrap carrier before so this was not to difficult to use. I enjoyed the fact it can be worn different ways and you can adjust the seat and length to your child as they grow. Currently my child is 7 months so I have only tried to front carry. He enjoyed it and I can nurse while carrying him. We have used it on walks and I use the hood to shield him from the sun or just around the house. I also like the fact I can fold it down and travel with it well in the car and it is not big and bulky like other carriers. I agree with other posters that the pattern can be different but it is not a deal breaker for me. I did not feel any pain on my shoulders or back while carrying. I have received the Close Ties Carrier from Infantino to facilitate my review. It is not my favorite baby carrier, but it is a nice. I'm not new to wrap type baby carriers, however I found this one, being a half a regular carrier and half a wrap carrier, somewhat difficult. The instructions and carrier itself took some time to get acquainted and comfortable with. (There is an instuctional video online now, watch it! It is so helpful!) Positioning baby and trying to tie the wrap can be a little frustrating. It's definitely easier if you have someone to help. I do think it is more comfortable for my children with its ability to be more custom to their size. Especially when it comes to their legs. I love that the seat width can adjust. I also love the removable hood. Such a nice convenience. All in all it is a nice wrap. And will probably get more use when baby grows a little.
