Good strong masks for our donkeys
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pro-Force Equine Fly Mask is protecting my beautiful Spirit from the summer gnats and horse flies. It also shields her from the harmful UV rays given off by the sun. The adjustable fit helps maintains comfort when she wear the mask. The nite reflector makes it easy to spot her when the sun goes down.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Pro_Force fly mask is excellent. I have kept this on my horse over a week. She has not tried to take it off. The mask offers protection from those pesky horse flies and other flies as well. It stays securely in place and fits well. She seems to see through it just fine. The halters fit either under or over the mask great. My horse prefers under.
The weight of this mask makes it good for riding. It's pretty tough too, which makes it good for turnout.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mask is absolutely perfect for my horse! It's a nice fit, and so far she hasn't been successful in getting it off. It being reflective is also a nice touch! I would definitely recommend this to all my horse friends!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 16.2 Thoroughbred Mare has to wear a fly mask most of the year, and I love the Pro-Force Equine Fly Mask fit. It is nicely padded, with a very secure velcro clasp and has a place to write her name and our contact info which gives me peace-of-mind during hurricane season. The reflector really works too, and helps make it easier to find her in the dark
I have bought two of these, and the horses seem to enjoy the longer nose coverage which protects them from flies and they can see more due to the netting. I really like the double latch and where they latch they have never caused a sore. In the summer I would feel confident to leave these on the horses while riding the trails to prevent flies from bugging them.
As someone mentioned, the Velcro is short. Don't think my mare's head is unnaturally large. (TB/Qtr). But it's otherwise beautifully made. I used to have to turn others inside out because of seams.
I bought this last weekend & was anxious to try it. I was concerned about there not being any ears but was assured the insectshield would repel the flies from the ears. I put it on and it pressed on the horse's lashes. I wasn't happy with that but decided to see how well the repellent worked. Checked on him later & found gnats & flies sitting on the mask. So now it has a poor fit AND no repellent action, so I can't even use it as a regular mask. Very disappointed with this product. I had a sheet with Insectshield & never saw flies sitting on it so I thought this would be the same, but it isn't.
Purchased a mask for my two TWH and was completely disappointed. The fit was really bad on both guys and one had his eyelashes pushing downward onto his eyeball. Flys all over the masks, I never would have guessed there was repellent. Returned them for refund after two days.
