The price paid was the same as the price on Tracfone's website, it is a big improvement over my current phone I have had for about 6 years. My Quality issue (reason for lower score) is due to the Mfg forgetting to include the SIM card and once I went thru the instructions I found I had to purchase a charger separately. I would have been happier if the SIM card was in the box AND if a USB-C Charger was included the product box.
Got this phone for my wife. Her old LG would keep dropping network connection because Verizon coverage in our area is poor. This one is a little better. We just need a phone to make calls and receive text and this does the trick. Very pleased so far.
A nice upgrade at a decent price, a great looking screen and pretty fast
Compared to my previous phone. Hate that it does not have a button at bottom-center for turning on. Hate that the activation button on the side is slightly recessed. Like the considerably improved battery life. Seriously hate all of the non-removable Samsung bloatware that I'll never use.
so far works good upgrade from my a10e samsung must better.
I wanted to stay with Samsung and once I learned how to handle the changes (from my old phone) this was a good choice. Larger phone and screen meant I needed a new car holder; change to a C jack meant I needed new charging cords, and it doesn't fit my laptop so had to buy adapters. Impossible to find a cord to transfer data from old phone to new (wireless transfer didn't work) so I had to rig up a cord and 2 apaters. Also some apps with updates this phone can handle have LOUSY alert sounds you cannot hear (Yahoo and Instagram) and they don't take other sounds you load (that's an app problem, not the phone) but it's very annoying. I'm happy with the space so I can load more apps, and the battery life is great. A lot more features than my old phone had.
We wanted to upgrade our tracfones, and saw the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G available at no cost for existing customers who wanted to upgrade.) So far we like the phones overall function and features. The main thing we were hoping for, however, was a better camera than our Moto G. Our first Samsung phones had great cameras, but sadly, these do not meet the quality of those old phones. The photos look okay as is, but if you try to zoom in, the photo pixilates until it looks like the old blotchy paint by number kits we had as kids. The same thing happens when you zoom the camera lens, to take a photo of something in the distance. Pretty disappointing.
takes too long to charge, shuts off by itself too soon, pre-programming (Google)of commentary on response time to text messages is invasive. Categorization of messages as spam is presumptuous and apparently politically motivated.preprogramed, unremovable Facebook is waste of space. Too much apparent analysis of personal information-and is surely "$old".
bought phone and activation. card on line couldnt get it turned on spent hours on line and on phone with TracFone still havent been able to activate im so. frustrated that i went and bought another phone. tracphone wont refund me so they just ripped me off
All of a sudden, after 4 months, you can only receive texts from other Samsung phones if they have their advanced messaging turned off. Called TRACPHONE, and they don't know how to fix it.
