Awsome toy, words from my daughter who I bought the toy for!!!!
durable, fun to play, show and share to my childrens friends, check the store it might be already there, I preferd let my kids take their time looking for what they want in the compurer and then order myself on line, is faster than taking them to the store....;)
So far every halo mega bloks I have got are great except nearly everyone for 2010 was missing 1 to 6 pieces.However stay away from walmart site to store unless you have a month or more to wait for your item.
My son really enjoyed this Halo Mega Bloks. It kept him busy and he enjoy seeing the finished product.
MegaBloks makes great alternate toys to compete with Legos. They are as simple to put together and compatible. My kids really like Halo and I'm happy to buy them the Mega Bloks brand.
This item was number 1 on my 11 yr. old grandson's Christmas gift list but was extremely difficult to find. Not only did I find it on line, it was packaged very well for shipment, all the many, many pieces were present and they all fit together just as they were supposed to. I will purchase this brand in the future and recommend it to anyone looking for this type of toy.
This is a great set. My only gripe with it is that the cone part of the mortar cannon falls off easily, but that's nothing a little model cement won't fix. ;]
Not a bad set, but having experienced LEGO for most of my building years, the Megabloks sometimes don't fit together all that well, and it was hard for my son to get a strong connection during construction at times. Other than that this set has some great features, a closing cockpit, and the retractable launcher were some of the features we really enjoyed. The addition of clear blocks to the bottom of this set to give the illusion that it was actually floating proves that the source material was referenced and this wasn't simply a generic cash in. The figures and accessories were good, not great, but for the price this set gets a buy from this Halo fan.
I was gifted this Wraith for my birthday, and the first set was missing two key pieces. As far as I know, the rest were in there, but I couldn't finish the build without it. I had it exchanged in-store, and that was one ALSO missing pieces! Those I could replace with a couple of extras from my collection, but twice can't just be a coincidence in this instant. MEGA BLOKS has its own issues with pieces connecting/staying connected, but most of the model seems stable. One exception is the cone-shaped piece of the main turret. Would strongly think before buying from MEGA BLOKS again.
junk junk junk the thing good about these was the u were right i got from my husband. my husband bought these for our lego nut of a son, i tried to talk him out of it but no good. neway after 20 minutes of play time my boy had put them all back n the box and said please take these back to the store. they r 2 hard to get together, but then they fall apart easily. they also break n half very easily too. save ur $$$$$$$$
