I bought me one of these pillows and loved it. The wife loved mine so much that I had to get her one too And for only $10 it was well worth it. Thanks Wal-Mart
I have bought a couple of pillows from Wal-Mart. Although I occasionally switch pillows, I find this pillow to be the best pillow I have ever used. It is comfortable and can be used for different sleep positions. I like that it is memory foam and forms to my head position.
Pillow is a great value. It makes sleeping very comfortable, but even with "odor control", there is still an slightly unpleasant odor even after airing out.
I ordered three pillows and although they are all great, they were very different. Two were very soft and light and the other was more rigid (seemed like it had more memory foam) than the other two. In addition, I had purchased one in the store at Christmas (same brand, etc) and it is totally different as well. It is probably twice as dense and these and heavier too. Not sure what the deal is, but my kids seemed to like the squisher ones, I like the medium one and my husband likes the dense one. Very inconsistent but good quality for the price.
I have been having neck problems for months. I went to Kohls and spent $45 on a memory foam pillow and took it back, because it didn't help. This pillow was $14 and I love it! It seems hard, but when you put your head on it you just sink in and it forms to your head and neck. I will never go back to regular pillows again!
If you like a Memory Foam Pillow that's Soft, with a Regular, [Bed] Pillow's Shape, then this Pillow is for you. If you're like me, & need a FIRM Memory Foam Pillow, then you'll find this Pillow LACKS SUPPORT. My head sank down to my mattress, whatever side of the Pillow I lay it on. I liked its price when I bought it; I thought it was a Good Value. But, once I used the pillow, & wasn't satisfied with its performance, then I felt it had Poor Value. I like the fact that the Pillow has a Regular Shape; it's not the Molded Shape of most Memory Foam Pillows. It'd be a great Pillow for a growing child.
This pillow is comfortable, but it's smaller and not as firm as other memory foam pillows I've tried. On a firm mattress, this forces my neck into an uncomfortable angle (I'm a side sleeper). I'm still using it, but I need to place another thin pillow underneath to maintain proper alignment. The best thing I can say about it is that the price can't be beat.
I was confused when I read that some folks found this pillow too soft. I tend to sleep on my side, and my pillow was so hard that it actually made my ear hurt. It seems after reading all of the reviews for this product that the density is very inconsistent from pillow to pillow.
honestly, this pillow felt like a rock. My head sunk into it, which was ok at first, but i thought it would be softer. my friend had one that was memory foam as well, but it was a lot softer. I guess i just had high expectations for this pillow.
As with the Mainstays Memory Foam Standard Contour Pillow I also bought, this one didn't live up to my expectations or the hype. We bought a 8" memory foam mattress with which I'm very happy, but these memory foam pillows are hard and uncomfortable. This one is slightly better than the contoured one, though, but I switched back to my old regular pillow after just one night. It might work for some people, but I failed to see or enjoy any particular benefits. At least it wasn't too expensive.
