I bought 2 of these pillows. I have to say that it's the best deal I've come across in a long time. I did site to store and it took 2 weeks. Was not happy about that. Pillows came rolled up and shrink-wrapped. Only took about an hour or so to completely plump up (in a warm room). We let one plump up in a cooler room and it did take longer. I noticed that they seem to be affected by the temperature of the room. If the room is warm, the pillows are a bit softer. If it is cool, they are firmer. The pillows are VERY firm. Even if you like the "extra firm" traditional pillows, they don't even come close to these pillows. These pillows are more closely compared to a real down pillow. Compared to the $80-$100 price tags on other memory foam pillows, $20 is a steal for these.
these pillows are great.. when you first get them they are going to be flat as pancakes, and you really have to put some energy into 'fluffing' them.. but once you do, you will love them! mine are huge and barely fit in a king size pillow case when fluffed. I re-fluff every morning when I get out of bed. I am a stomach/side sleeper with one arm under my pillow and head, and I can pretty much arrange this pillow anyway I want and it stays that way.. and it's comfortable. No other pillow that I have ever slept on, aside from my grandmother's goose down double stuffed tufted pillow has ever been so comfy or so perfect! And this one is without the feathers sticking you in the head and the dust mites and whatever else have accumulated on grandmother's pillow all these years! a great deal for temperpedic too!
And finally found a pillow with some support. this is a keeper.....It is firm yet it has some give, its like a car on a hydraulic lift it comes down slowly and smoothly and settles right where I want it to with my head straight with my spine... you can fluff ruff it seems to like it cause it has weight to it,I mean if you wacked somebody in a pillow fight you'd WIN cause theyre DOWN...no pun intended I give it 5 stars
I usually have a sore neck in the mornings and have tried many different pillows, but with this one I wake up refreshed. It has just the right amount of firmness.
Nice pillow, like this one way better than the molded shape one I purchased a few years ago. At first takes a few times to get use to the hardness, but after you figure out that if you lay your head on pillow a few minites it will confom to you and than a great nights sleep, would not trade for my pillow!!
The first day this pillow arrived, it didn't really start to swell up for about 2 days. After that, its comfortable, but not nearly as good as the Canopy pillows. Still for the price and size (mine is a king size) I would still say its a pretty good value. The neck support is good but can take a while to change shape when you alter your position. Overall, I give this 4 stars...
I wasn't sure how I'd like these pillows, and at first they do feel very hard, but your head and neck mold into them providing a very comfortable night's sleep. I'm not waking up any longer with neck and shoulder pain. I'd highly recommend them, especially for the reasonable price
I've purchases many pillows in the last few years in an attempt to find one that would improve my neck problems. This one seems to be helpful. The only thing I'm not pleased with is the strange chemical scent. I resolved that by placing a hypoallergenic cover over the pillow but prior to that, the smell was repulsive.
But I wouldn't recommend. Doesn't really bounce back like other, more expensive memory foam pillows.......Pretty stiff.
As recommended, I let the pillows fluffy for 48 hrs. before using. Was very disappointed that the foam core is not ONE solid piece but made of crumbled pieces of memory foam. This makes the pillow feel "lumpy" and constantly needs fluffing. The cover is attractive and well made. Glad I only ordered 2 instead of the 4 pillows needed. For the price, I'll keep these 2 for body pillows and order better pillows for the head. They are not "heavy" as other reviews stated, so am wondering if I received different pillows than they?
