The two sets of 16' ft. LED rope lights I purchased are very high quality. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these lights and how easy it was to assemble both strands together especially for the price. I used these lights to go on top of my kitchen cabinets where there is a shelf to highlight the items I display there. No one could ever see them until I installed these lights. It looks fantastic and looks like something out of a magazine all for a great price. I have had so many compliments about them. I intend to purchase more for Christmas lighting. They were extremely easy to connect to each other and very well built. They are not the light weight cheap lights. I would recommend these to anyone for any purpose. Great buy!
I got these for my patio gazebo and they really put out a lot of light. The first box I received didn't go completely around and up like I wanted them to, so I bought additional ones. They have a bright white light and are much brighter than the twinkie lights I had previously. I think they will hold up well in the Winter also, since there are seals in the connectors to keep out moisture. It's wet and cold for months in PA, so that's a plus. They even light up the yard too!
I have purchased several of these Melio Rope lights and they are wonderful! I am excited about the number of ways you can use them in your home and outdoors! The rope lights are well made and have connectors when you want to add more to the rope! I am going to place them under my kitchen cabinets, around my gazebo and by the pool! These are at a great price also! You cannot go wrong with these lights!
I purchased several strands to string together across the back of our home. It gives plenty of light to sit and visit on the patio wo using porch lights and attracting bugs. I am happy with my purchase.
I bought these and put around the deck at my beach house. Great outside light and a beautiful shade of blue. I am very pleased with them. Have gotten several comments on how good they look..
Bought it because it was on sale and have no regrets. It is as described.
The lights work well around a porch or to light a walkway but not enough to use as light. They are more decrotive.
I bought this a month ago fot under lights on my kitchen cabinets. It gives great light and is unobtrusive, you enjoy the light but don't see the lights themselves
These are the exact same Meli Creations Model ML12-MRL116-CW rope lights, sold for $12.88 on the shelf in both my home town Walmart stores , but they are sold here for an online price of $48? What gives Walmart? Anyway, these are a great Meil Creation product, made in China. These LED lights are 100% brighter than other brands of indoor, outdoor lights I looked at, like the Hamptonbay 16ft set sold at Homedepot for $16. These Meil Creation lights make great and bright in home accent lighting, for back-lighting, say for a TV for reducing eyestrain. And for the fraction of the cost of a special TV back-lighting sets sold online specifically made for that purpose. The only "con" I see with these lights, is that they are not as flexible as compared to the other brand, but again, they are 100% brighter, and that is the desired effect that I wanted. Such a small trade off. The pro, I see with these lights, is, less wattage used, and they run way cooler, and not as hot as the not as bright Hamptonbay Ft set I returned to Homedepot. I like them so much that I bought a spare set at the $12.88 price in store, I may use them somewhere else around the house, or just keep them for a spare. Pictures DIY: lights attached to back of TV with plastic zip ties, 1" x 1" Adhesive Cable Tie Holders. And plugged int to aux remote switch to come on when another device is powered on.
I have now had 2 different sets of these rope lights (I did an exchange for the second set) and both sets in the middle of me trying to put them up have had half the lights stop working. I feel like for a $40 price tag, these are not worth the price. I will not be purchasing another set of Meilo Creation lights again.
