Excellent tires

I put these tires on my car and they exceeded my expectations. During a rain storm with sheets of water on the highway I was impressed with the tires hydroplane resistants, I was driving sensible but still impressed with the tires traction. I drove across the Pennsylvania mountains several times in snowstorms with no traction issues. after having them about two years again I was in a heavy rain storm with sheets of water on the highway and the traction was. still excellent. When I traded my car in these tires had over 40,000 miles on them and had plenty of tread left. I think these tires are underrated I will recommend them and buy them again.

We purchased this car new for my teen driver and these are the original tires. They could probably go another 10,000 miles but we want to play it safe, so we will be replacing these with another set of FR710s as she is now away at college a does more highway driving. Great tire . I was surprised we got so many miles. They have also done well on snow and ice.

92,000 miles in AZ

I'm a fast driver, didnt rotate often, but still got 92,000 miles. I still have tread left, but it's low, and time for a new set. I love these tires and will be buying another set. Tread has worn evenly, always had good stopping distance, average fuel economy for the first 70,000 miles was 33.5. It has since dropped, possibly due to the low tread. Some cars do not perform the same as others. My parents have a Chevy malibu, so does my grandma, and they both chew up tires 30,000-40,000 miles in. I don't think it has to do with the tire always. Arizonians, Michelin, the brand hasnt mattered for them. Just my 2cents.

Dismal tread life

When I bought these two years and a few months ago, my local shop only had a couple options in 225/55R17. I selected these over some no-name imports. I was hoping these would be as good as the Bridgestone Potenza's I had before that cost less than these. I probably wouldn't be so upset with these tires if I hadn't been charged $150 a piece for tires that clearly weren't worth that- I now see the MSRP is far below this figure. If you want a comfy, quiet tire for grandma's Buick, then this is a fine choice. If you drive a bit more on the edge, look elsewhere. I must note that this is the first tire that would cause me to tense up every time I saw a puddle on the road. Also, snow traction was sub-par. My previous Bridgestone Potenza's handled winter like a champ. After 25k miles, these are shot. I could hound the shop for a warranty replacement except I dread the thought of living with another set of these FR710's. At least this go around I have the luxury of time to be able to research tires and order exactly what I want- I'm not at the mercy of the local shop's inventory and pricing.

I have had the tires on my chevy Cruze for 2 years and a month now only 25,000 miles on my them and I live in San Diego just use it to go to work and back and the tires are down to 2/32 already now I have to get new tires they were okay for the first year and a half but after that if it rained they would slip taking off or cornering. I would not recommend these tires.

Terrible Tread LifezI

These tires came with my new car. I've rotated them every 6000 miles as the service is free with my oil change from the dealer. Now I am told I will need a set of new tires before going into winter. They are supposed be a 65000 mile tire! I only have 2 years 24000 miles on these tires. The car is not a hot rod by any means. I might expect to get 50000 miles out of them but this is ridiculous, I know one thing for sure I certainly will not buy Firestone tires in the future.

Fire Stone FR 710

Bought these tires, have always used Fire Stone tires. Was informed these tires are very good and ride well. Bought them and had have them for a little over 2 years. Just a little over 34,000 miles on them, had them rotated every 6,000 miles. Every other oil change. Now with just a little 34,000 miles, I have 3-32's tread left and need to buy new tires again. They say good for 65,000 miles, not here. I got just 34,000 miles. I would not buy another set of these tires. Very disappointed in the value of these tires.

Brand new car no more than 26000 miles, tires already worn

We bought our Sienna brand new in 2013, the mileage is just over 25000 miles but the tires are completely worn out. We do routine maintenance on time as it is free and covered. Wheel alignment and rotation are also done promptly. I am very disappointed that the tires are worn out with so low mileage. Would not recommend. Called Firestone to let them know.
