I love adding this tire shine to my detailing products. My tires where dirty but not covered in caked on mud grime and dirt so I had to do nothing to the tires for preparation and spraying it on and letting it do it's thing was all it took. It cleans and shines in one spraying. After two week of driving in snow and rain the tires still have some shine to them, not like when I first applied it but as much as they were driven on I am still impressed with how much shine they do have. This is a great product and can not get much easier to use.
Tire Wet Foam is an amazing product to use, It would be a must have item for the Car Caring Person. I have seen is used at most all Car show's , Very Simple to use, work's quite fast and Looks Phenomenal. The easy part is how simple it is to apply it, just make sure that your tires are clean before doing so. Just simply Shake the can well , spray on your tires, the tires can be wet or dry when applying, I always do it dry, seems to work better for me. , After the can is Shaken well, applied from 6 to 8 inches away from the tire and the watch the Magic, in about 10 minutes your tires will look brand new. Nothing else to do. Tire Wet Foam will last up to Two weeks depending on where and how much you drive. I always take to a Car Show, Less work.
When I offered to review Black Magic Tire Wet Foam, I thought it was a different kind of product, the kind you spray on and then rub in. Once the Tire Wet Foam showed up and I read the directions, I was a little hesitant to try it. According to the directions, all you do is spray the foam onto a dirty tire and it does the rest. As you can see in the Before/After photos, my tires were not very dirty, mostly because we haven't had rain here in a couple of months. They were dusty though, so I thought I'd give the foam a try. (By the way, I didn't use any special lighting make the “after” picture look better. The only difference is the sun angle change for the few minutes it took for the Tire Wet Foam work.) Per the directions, all I did was hold the can about 6” from the tire and spray the rubber. Then I sat back and let Black Magic do its thing. A few minutes later the tire looked great – a nice dark shiny sheen. The only additional thing I did was to take a cloth and rub some of the product into areas I'd missed when I sprayed the Tire Wet Foam so the color and shine was uniformly spread around. The tire really did look great. It is two years old and has seen its share of use, but now it looks brand new. There are a couple of cautions on the label. The first is that the product can discolor the surface the tire is sitting on. I didn't see that at all, but it's certainly something to be aware of. The second cautions the user to not get the product on the tread portion of the tire. Since this is silicone-based foam, there's the possibility you can increase stopping distance if you get it on the treads. Again, this wasn't a problem for me because the spray nozzle was very accurate. I'm not exactly a “car guy” that spends endless hours doting over my ride, but I do like taking care of the things I own. The Black Magic Tire Wet Foam makes that easier. A lot easier. Though this wasn't the product I thought I was asking for, I'm glad I got it. When this can runs out, I'll be getting another just like it.
It didn't take any scrubbing or brushing to make these old tires look new again. It was a little frosty today, so the tires showed a little ice crystallization but still look great after the spray treatment. The label said you could use this on dry or wet tires, and I did it dry. The rubber looks very nice. Next time I think I'll wash the wheels first because the rims look shabby now when viewed next to the “new” tires! The foam really did clean this rubber very well.
Black Magic 800002220 Tire Wet Foam, 18 oz.: I've used similar products in the past but most that I can remember required a washing or cleaning before applying. I just followed the instructions which is apply to tire and walk away. So I did just that to a dirty dry tire, jumped in our other car to run errands and came back a half hour later. To my surprise it does exactly what it says it does. Just see before and after photos. I highly recommend this product.
I have used this stuff for years and its the only Tire shine Foam cleaner I use on my tires, its simple, non sticky, dust free on the tires. Others I have used have been a dust/dirt magnets, not Black Magic. Will not go back to anything else. I usually get enough out of one can to do 16 tires.
This review is for Black Magic Tire Wet Foam. This foam is made of silicon that makes the side tire looks shinny wet black. It works and stays shinny for about couple of weeks. One must be careful not spray on the tire thread, as the foam makes the thread slippery and potentially hazardous when you break. I simply cover the thread with a piece of cardboard when I spray.
I always clean my car using the pressure washer and I never applied anything on time tire before. I used Black Magic tire wet foam. It is very easy to use it. I just shake properly to create good amount of foam and spray it on my tire. It clean the road grime and dirt from the tire and it provides good shine that tire looks really good. However, I noticed that the direct sunlight on tire that fade the shine on the some of the area that clearly looks in the picture. Other than that it can use by any person who does not have any knowledge of using it. It does not have wipe or scrub. It also last long for weeks. I would defiantly recommend because of easy to use it. However, I would suggest to apply good amount of foam to looks same on whole tires. I noticed one thing that some of the area is fade. It might require to apply more foam on that area.
Following the easy instructions, Black Magic worked just as advertised. It is a simple product to use. As stated on the can, simply spray on. Tire cleaning preparations are not necessary. The only issue I have is the instructions do not mention any possible temperature issues. I used the product during a sunny afternoon, with a temperature of about 45 degrees, and while the spray worked nicely, it did show some 'runs' on the tire as it dried. A light buffing brought out the nice shine. The product says its good for about two weeks, however, after a couple of days of driving and cooler temperatures, the shine is nearly gone. Overall, as simple as the product is to use, the fact that one can has the ability to cover up to 36 and the reasonable price, I will be buying more in the near future.
This stuff is simple to use. Just shake the can, spray on the sidewall, (not the tread). It can go on dry or wet tires. It cleans & shines, plus the can says protects. This was my first try as it just came in the mail. This does a nice job, but it's cloudy today so the pics don't do it justice. It may not be as shiny as the dealerships detail companies, but it does look very nice.
