I have a Graco Lauren crib and changing table and could not find a dresser to match the set, this Graco Freeport dresser fit just perfectly! Very satisfied with the product, color and convenience of ship to site! Have been a loyal Wal-Mart site to store customer!
It was pretty easy to build. Seems to be a sturdy piece of furniture after it is all built. I am happy with it. The color of the cherry stain is a little off from the matching crib. I think that is because the crib is made in China and the dresser in Vietnam.
I recieved this dresser 2 days sooner than expected, that was great. The Assembly looked simple but in the process it appeared that the right and left side were mislabled and you could see stickers put on the Diagram for some other error. You need to be very carefull with which are Left & Right Ends as the drawing shows the dresser overturned in some views. Over all a good piece of furniture nice looking.
We bought this dresser to match our Graco crib. We feel that the finish between the two is very similar (others have commented on very different colorations between the crib and the dresser). It took us two evenings to assemble the dresser. The directions required some adjustment--it would have been assembled backwards if we had followed their directions (they said to start with the left side panel instead of the right). Also, the drawers would not go in on their own. We had to take off the little drawer stops, put the drawer in, and then reattach the stops from underneath. It is a nice sturdy piece of furniture, and even though we had difficulty with the assembly we are happy with the final result.
Although I have not gotten to use this product, since our daughter is not due until August, we just recieved it and put it together right away. It was a pain to put together. The directions were kind of hard to read and some of the screws were hard to put in based off of the fact that there is a little space for you to put your hand to screw the screws in. We did however have a ton of extra screws for this particular product for some reason, so I guess it will be good in the future if we need them. The color of the dresser is more red than the color of the crib/changing table. So far, it seems pretty well built. It's very cute as well. I would recommend it to others. The only other complaint that I have, is that you can def. tell its cheaper wood before there were some scratches and dings on all three of the products that i ordered to match (dresser, changing table, crib).
I purchased this dresser after searching for a dresser that would match my Graco Charleston crib and changing table. It arrived quickly which was wonderful. However, I had many issues putting this dresser together. To begin, the instructions were incorrect. Event though I followed the written instructions and the pictures I had to take some parts off and redo a few of the steps. First was the stationary shelf. The instructions have you put the bars on the wrong side of the wood side piece. Then the stationary shelf was not cut correctly and I actually had to cut it in order for it to fit properly. Which was frustrating. Next was the backing. The backing is attached with screws, but there were not an predrilled holes so therefore the screws were difficult to get in. Next is the drawers. The instructions state to angle the drawer so the stopper goes over the edge of the dresser and then it will slide into place. This is impossible to do because of where the stoppers are located. I had to force the drawer in and tighten the drawer stoppers afterwards. Once it was complete the dresser looks fine. I am still pleased with the dresser but the installation was ridiculous and I contemplated returning the item. I will also be notifying Graco.
This was the hardest thing we have ever encountered to put together. There were parts missing, there were holes that were'nt drilled and the directions were not exactly very helpful. Took two grown men 4 hours to put together. If Walmart is gonna sell these things they should have them in the stores in stock and put them together for you. The mother to be saw the present before she got it because it took so long to put together. Was a royal pain.
Once assembled the dresser is a decent piece of furniture. But, the drawers are very small. My main complaint is the poor assembly directions. The instruction sheet comes updated with new labels showing the manufacturer was aware of the mistakes. Although, if you follow the directions you will have to disasemble and start over because the left side is labeled right side in the directions. It is extremely frustrating and total assembly was over 5 hours do to the disassembly midway through. The quality of the piece is fair for the price but dont expect this to be a "hand-me-down" item.
this dresser is alright. very hard to put together, the instructions are a pain & they dont bother to tell you to not put the screws too tight under the top if the dresser cause they poke thru the top. i was very upset but its gotta do for now. but it looks nice once its together.
I ordered this dresser to match a crib and it definitely does not. In the picture it looks like a darker cherry but it is a lighter cherry color. The directions are half backwards. Had to take the dresser apart numerous times due to it being wrong. I would not recommend this to anybody!
