In my opnion, this glass cheese board is attractive but worthless. The first time I used it, the wire stretched so badly that it would not go all the way through the cheese, and it was not hard cheese, it was like Velveeta. The wire fits into the handle by a knot in the wire so there is no way to tighten the wire after it stretches. I took it back to the store for a refund the very next day.
