I wanted extra seating in a nice glider to fill a spot on my patio. This item fit the bill perfectly. It said this would be a two person assembly but at 70 yrs. old, I did it by myself, took a little time but not difficult to do. I also liked that I could order it on-line and it would be delivered to my home. Very convenient for me. Thanks Walmart for great service and a really good product and the price was right!
I bought this for my front porch and I am so glad I did. It is the most comfortable glider I've ever sat on with the nice high headrest. I would definitely recommend this glider to anyone
This glider was very easy and quick to assemble. There were only about 5 parts. After using it for a few minutes it glides smoothly. I read another review where the customer said a portion of it drags on the ground. The instructions say to make sure one particular part faced towards the front when installed. I would suspect the customer who complained about the glider dragging on the ground, installed this part backwards. THIS GLIDER IS A FANTASTIC DEAL!! The seat and back are lightweight non-absorbant material making it easy to leave in the rain. I CANNOT NOT SAY ANYTHING BAD ABOUT THIS ITEM. IT'S FANTASTIC!!!!!!
this item is very comfy, and I love gliders. the only problem that might occur in the future, is that you have to leave some of the screws a little loose in order for it to be able to glide - which might cause it to break sooner. not sure though...we love it so far! also, the fabric is a little darker than in the pic, it looks much nicer in person
This is a great glider for the price. It needs more than 1-person weight to rock properly, though... i weigh about 115 and without a second person on it, it is tough to "rock". Really attractive and comfortable.
I had been looking for a porch swing or glider that would be safe enough for my mother-in-law to get in and out of, this glider was perfect. This was a great Glider for the price. Shipping was 2 days ahead of projected delivery. Instructions simple and easy to follow. Although it comes with tools to put it together, personal tools (ratchet & wretch) makes completion go faster.
I'm a 50 year old woman and I found this simple to put together. I did it while watching a movie one evening. Everything fit well and instructions were easy to follow. Its of good quality and feels secure when you sit in it. I was a little disappointed that it doesn't swing really freely. Feels tight but could loosen up as time goes on. Looks great!
This glider is very stiff. Hope that with use it will actually glide, right now it is more like a bench.
Glider was what we wanted. Got to last bolt for back and the built-in nut was cross threaded. Call the company as asked to they said the back part was on back order and could not send for at least 4 weeks. Not going to wait that long. Taking back today.
This glider, in general, appears to be exactly what we wanted and would probably be a nice, comfortable glider. However, the pieces included in the box for assembly consisted partly of two metal crossbars that were too short for the construction of the frame. If you used these crossbars, it was not possible to insert the seat of the glider in place. I returned this item to the store immediately upon discovery of the flaw. I was very disappointed as it was exactly what I was wanting for the patio.
