I purchased this for my grandchildren and they love it! The Chair/Hammock is comstructed with great care. The tubular rings are sturdy and the net is sewn together with wide straps. We used the rope to attache the Chair/Hammock to a tree limb, but a tree strap would work just as well! I enjoy the Chair/Hammock myself. I love the cup holders that are positioned on the inside. A warm summer breeze and a pillow will give you hours of relaxation! Four of my grandchildren fit in the moon drop comfortably! In fact, our grandchildren are begging for one of these for their birthday! A great product!
I just installed it and I'm surprised, it is big and the materials are strong and well made and it comes with a storage bag for storage. great product and it looks very nice in my porch.
I bought this about a month ago. I have really enjoyed this product. There is plenty of room in it. My only complaint with this product was the assembly. The assembly directions were okay but not great. It definitely takes 2 people to put together. You will need someone with some strength. The bottom circle of the hammock is created by assembling a series of poles together. It does tell you to put it together on the ground and I would do that. I thought it would be easier to do it after the hammock was already hanging because of it's weight but we had to take it back down and start all over. So do follow those directions by laying it out in a circle flat on the ground and insert the poles. On the inside there are sleeves that the poles slide through and connect end to end with male and female ends. Doesn't matter which pole you use you just have to have it turned the correct way. The tough part is in the connection of the last two poles. We stood it up on it's side and the last two poles were end to end, not connected just up against one another to form the the top point of a triangle. We then lowered it to the ground and the two pieces slid into one another. You will need 1 person on the other side of it to provide resistance as you are lowering. We also let the hammock hang for a couple of days to try to get the material to loosen a little before connecting the last two poles. With all that being said I would buy this product again because I have enjoyed it so much. Hopefully they can come up with an easier way to assemble in the future. Check on you-tube there may be an assembly demonstration video.
I bought this chair thinking that myself and a friend might be able to camp out or just hang out in it. On the description it said that the max weight limit was 650 pounds. A lot of my friends weigh more than 200 pounds. So this chair is totally useless for me since on the box it says "400 pound weight limit". I consider it a kids chair at the 400 pounds weight limit. I would NEVER had paid $179 for this chair. I will probably be returning it.
My husband didn't like it.
