My six year old tears up shoes and I was pleasantly surprised to see how these still look new after six weeks of outdoor hiking and water play camps! The other review rating these 3 stars has a child that uses shoes as brakes.
These sandals have worked great for our son who's four years old. He has consistently played, hiked, and walked in them through summer and fall. They are still in good shape! Highly recommend these sandals for active kiddos!

These are super lightweight and great for summer fun. They adjust well and my kiddos find them really comfortable. True to size chart. They also dry quickly after getting wet making them a great choice for the splash pad.

Hi. We love Merrell shoes for my kids because they last through their adventures, however disappointed with our most recent purchase. Within less than a week the toe of the shoes have started breaking. I know for future purchases to make sure we get shoes with the rubber toe. My daughter is a typical busy, active 6 yr old who loved playing outside.
