This is one of my favorite children's movie. I always wanted a copy & now I have one! It may have a few frightening moments for younger children, but can easily be overcome w/ adult supervision.It is a heartwarming story w/ overtones of man's interference with nature and a mother's fierce love for her children.

This lived up to my expectations of quality. Very child friendly, but a little bit anti-science.

I showed this movie to my middle school students after we read the novel, MRS. FRISBY AND THE RATS OF NIMH. The movie was very entertaining for the students and served its purpose for students to compare/contrast information presented in different types of print/media. However, I also purchased the movie for my younger children to view at home. It's very violent and the fact that the producers had to throw in a swear word means I would not recommend it to a friend or show it to my children.
