I am loving this phone so far. I have small hands so i worried it might be to wide folded together, however it does get a little heavy when you are on a phone call. fast and easy. battery life could be little better. i still have yet to explore all of this phone but so far very happy with decision.
I've had my Z Fold for a couple of weeks now and I absolutely love it. It fits well in my pocket, isn't bulky at all, and I like the ability to quickly answer calls and texts from the cover screen as well as check email and do quick bing searches. Unfolded it's a whole new device. From videos to internet to pictures to games, the size is great. It's big enough that I use Excel spreadsheets with ease. In fact, since getting the Z Fold I hardly use my laptop. I'm not a high tech type so I can't speak to that side of it but my son is and after checking out my Z Fold he's considering getting one.
I just love this phone. Its my daily driver and I'm on it for work all day. Battery live is great i get all day use on one charge. This thing is a beast
ok I love this phone it is great I love the look and feel of it and the size I love to read books on my phone and this is so easy and better with the fold. The only thing I do not like is 256GB y not 512GB I want that Samsung do that with the next please.
While I am tech savvy, I am less concerned about the numbers and camera lenses and more concerned about functionality: can I text and email, can I do some online research and read documents, can I talk on the phone and teleconference and can I stick this in my back pocket. The answer is a resounding yes to each category. By the way, the camera works and works well. The transition from a S7 Edge to the Z Fold was seamless. It didn't take me long to figure out the basics. While I am still learning the ins and outs, there are a bunch of really good you tube videos demonstrating cool capabilities. My biggest concern was daily carry...was it too unwieldy or too clumsy for daily carry. While the Z Fold is heavier than a normal phone, it's not heavy enough to cause any sort of arm fatigue. Opening the Z Fold takes two hands, which is a problem if you are driving, but is a none issue otherwise. Once open, the larger screen is worth the additional step (opening). I carry the Z Fold in my back pocket, which has not been an issue. Perhaps the one weakness is mounting the Z Fold in the car....there are no phone holders for the Z Fold in the open mode. I'm sure someone will figure that out fairly quickly. My days are busy and this phone is a productivity multiplier.
LOVE this "tablet" that is called a phone! It's so nice to be able to read on something larger than an ordinary phone. Also, the front is just like any other smartphone. The only problem I have with it is that it is pretty narrow when it's closed. With a case on it, it is difficult to tap the keys on the left side of the keyboard.
I love my new galaxy z fold 2 phone.
The device has great screen brightness and color, scrolling is smooth and processor is very fast for switching between apps. Battery life is excellent, with at least all day and more capability. I use the front screen most often, with larger double wide screen used for web and document reading. Weight is noticeably hefty and this costs one star in my rating. Hinge is fine, crease in center of open phone no problem at all. I prefer clip on belt holder for phones, and there is none for this one, yet. Only horizontal or vertical pocket type belt clip holders. Lots of YouTube videos show many features and capabilities...It's a keeper.
It's awesome. Great for someone that has eyesight challenges. The phone screen can be larger because of the fold. The only con that I have is battery life should be longer for each use.
Not a practical phone. I switched from an iPhone XS and I found that this phone was just not as easy or practical to use. The best thing about this phone is the big screen but I found that I rarely opened it up to use it after the initial novelty wore off. I noticed that I merely used the front closed screen most of the time because it is hard to use the phone when it is open with one hand. This phone is not really practical for people who use their mobile device on the go I want a bigger screen. For these people you should just get a phone with a fixed bigger screen that you can hold in one hand easily.
