I bought three of them a couple of weeks ago, because I want to make some rose candles to put on top of some cupcakes. And I'm glad I did.
This mold is pretty and great, but I personally still have issues getting chocolate in all the crevices and mot breaking the petals when removing them from the mold, so be careful
I have been wanting to make rose candies for a long time. These turned out so pretty. I found it also works with fondant and royal icing. The icing is a bit tricky but can be done.
Easy to use, product pops out easily after baking or cooling
I bought this a couple years ago, just beginning to try my hand using candy melts and it worked beautifully! It's so easy... just put the melts in, pop it in the microwave, then refrigerate! I did use a toothpick, once it was melted, to make sure every little part was covered, but they came out so pretty and shiny! Last year, I made choco covered carmels using other molds and this year, going for it with couverture chocolate... So much fun!
I use this mold to make rose shaped candies and the detail is amazing. It's a nifty little mold and is nice to work with.
I have not had time to use the product yet, but I am looking forward to it. I really love your molds.
Love using the molds. Don't melt the chocolate right in the molds though it burns the flower.
This was so easy! Made both dark cocoa and vanilla, plus mixed the 2 colors and after the first melt, mixed it a bit with a toothpick and spread it to the edges. They came out very shiny and so pretty.
This mold was much smaller than what we wanted. My fault! I was looking for a large rose mold to make candied apples for Valentines and this mold is not for that purpose. Will make very cute cake decorations though.
