Excellent low impact for beginners!

The NYC ballet workout (1) is a wondeful low impact workout for beginners and non-dancers! I'm 49 years old, never studied dance, 50 pounds overweight, and have a heart condition AND arthritic knees, shoulders, and elbows, but I can keep up with the video; and I get a great workout every time! Since using the video (as well as being on a low calorie diet) I've already lost 22 pounds. It's a godsend!!!

I saw a good vedio before and wanted to use it for my excercise at home but it was not this one. I choose the wrong edition. This one is hard for non-professionas to use for personal excercise.

If you enjoy watching slender, attractive people doing graceful ballet exercizes, this is a great video. If you're looking for an actual workout, look elsewhere. Unless you are as flexible as a prima ballerina, it's tough to keep up or even do half the moves properly.
