Received this coffee pot from Kitchen aid in exchange for my 12 cup thermal coffee pot. This coffee pot is great! Coffee is good and is hot. So far so good. No spills and over flowing of coffee like my 12 cup. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Great features like 'Bold,' '1-4 cups' and the 'clean' indicator, plus the in-the-water-tank filter (optional) makes the best coffee most of my friends and family keep telling me! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
KitchenAid is a great vendor and we are enjoying our morning coffee. We just recently bought a KitchenAid 5 speed blender in Tangerine. It's not only good looking, it takes it's self around the kitchen for a spin once in a while. Ha! Ha! B.Z. Kurpinski [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Only problem I have with it is it leaks! When making coffee it leaks, when you pour it it leaks. The coffee is great though. If I could just get the top fixed so it would not leak....I would be sooo happy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Makes great tasting coffee, smaller than other makers and takes up less space on the counter. Easy pour and easy to clean. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
The coffee LEAKS all around the seem. The product is less than 3 months old. Need to fix the leaks.... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Everything about this product is GREAT, except 3 things that kind of ruin it for me. 1. The 2 lids on top (Water and coffee). Every time you open either one (mainly the coffee lid), it comes into contact with the water lid and will not open smoothly. I can see they were designed to look slick, but the gap is so small that they interfere with each other. Very annoying. I ended up removing the water lid to avoid this from happening again. 2. Pouring. It has to be done really really slow, if not you'll make a mess. Pot needs to be design to let user pour a little faster. This would be specially useful when pouring to fill water tank. 3. Heat pad temperature is way too hot. Unless you drink the whole pot of coffee when its done, any coffee left will begin to burn and flavor will go down dramatically. I will generally shut if off after brewing as the heat will last for at least an hour and will maintain better flavor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Pot drips like crazy when you pour. Easy to use and program otherwise. Carafe could keep coffee hotter but it definitely doesn't scald in this pot. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is the worst coffee make I have ever had. I really wanted to like it but it constantly dissapoints. First thing I noticed right away is that the pot leaks like crazy. Second the machine needs to be cleaned CONSTANTLY (At least twice a month). Third sometimes it will beep (meaning coffeee is done) when there is still water remaining to be used. Fourth the temperature is never hot. We ALWAYS HAVE to reheat in the microwave even after it has just finished. I love my coffee in the morning and having this machine is really stressful - The cheap ones are a lot more reliable compared to this one. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My Husband and I have been greatly disappointed with our Kitchen Aid Coffee Maker. We assumed that because it has a great name in Kitchen appliances behind it...that it would be a wonderful machine. We were wrong! It drips coffee all over the counter tops when serving a cup of coffee. We have the SS carafe, and it drips right down the side of the carafe. I do not overfill the machine...in fact, I use less water than recommended for that reason. The coffee does not make a piping hot cup of coffee. It seems we have to heat up our coffee in the microwave to make it the temp we desire. We used our scorecard points to purchase this machine, and have been so disappointed in the performance. I have voiced my opinion several times about it to you people. Thank you for this opportunity to let you know our feelings once again. From two people that take drinking coffee very seriously. Sincerely, James and Catherine Hamilton [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
