I love this brown coffee maker, it looks good on the counter top. The color is gorgeous. It brews perfectly and keeps the coffee hot(not warm)for a some time. I would recommend this coffee maker, just wish you made other small appliances in this color to coordinate. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is a great coffee maker that is easily programmed and delivers consistently brewed coffee regardless of amount selected; 4 to 14 cups. It is also one of the few coffee makers on the market that have the 14 cup capacity that works well with larger gatherings. We first saw this coffee maker at my sister's house and ended up ordering it on-line as it is not readily available in our local stores. It was well worth the effort! We searched far and wide for a reasonably priced 14 cupper when our old one died. This was well worth the investment! BEST feature in my (sleepy / first thing in the morning / time to make the coffee) opinion, is the removable water tank. Fill it up at the sink, snap it in place on the coffee maker! No pouring into the tiny port of most other machines and spilling water all over the counter. I realize the machine also has a programmable / start it for me first thing in the morning feature...but I don't like to leave the grounds exposed to air - I prefer to set it up and brew it fresh. OH!! and ALSO...KA nailed it with a carafe' that doesn't drip when pouring! Some may say they are only MY problems, but...I think at one time or another, we've all been there. ;)

This appliance is feature rich. The programing could be simpler for an elderly person who has eye problems and is not used to all of the program choice. The written directions could be more explicit, when describing the features. This seems to be the norm these days with written instructions and even PDF's. The brewing is quick and the beverage comes out nice and hot. The dual filter is nice, however I have found the gold filter basket leaves a fine sediment in the coffee. The quality feel of this product is great, with one or two exceptions. The water resevoirs' handle is quite cheap feeling, it creaks and bends with a tank of water, giving it a feeling of it snapping or unhinging. . With that said , the features of the display are fairly simple once you familiarize yourself. The price was very reasonable for this brewing master..and it looks great next to all my matching Kitchen Aid appliances. The glass carafe feels flimsey to me because I'm used to the stainless steel carafe of my old JavaScript ( Kitchen Aid ) that lasted 12 yrs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
