[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tea kettle is pretty great! When it gets hot the whistle is not super loud and it's pretty cool because it comes out of the lid. The water stays hot for a while so I can drink my tea and have more than two cups when I need the extra pick me up. Definitely use a pot holder while pouring after heating and make sure your children don't try to touch it.

Simply fill up thectea kettle up to the max line, put he cover on, push it all the way down, place on your stove, and wait for the whistle and steam to come out of the spout. The handle does get on so remove with a pot holder or kitchen cloth to pour. A kettle makes superior tea, pour overs, and hot chocolates. I am very happy with this kettle is is the top quality, I can never see a need to replace it if you rake good care of it.

The loud noise when this thing steams is extremely breath taking. We make alot of tea in my house and this thing makes it easier to want to make it. I love the wait it looks and how fast it bouls water. My grandmother was also taken away when I showed it to her. Nothing but great things to say about this master tea maker.

The lid fits really well and secure. When it is done heating to boiling it emits a loud and clear whistle to alert you. It is 1.9 quarts which is just perfect size. It looks really fancy sitting on my stove top. I really recommend this kettle.
This teapot is perfect, recently changed to an induction cook top and had to replace my 30 plus year old teapot. I like the removable lid, it is easy to wash and always looks beautiful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The look, feel and weight to this tea kettle screams awesome BUT the functionality of the design is flawed. In the handle for the lid there are 4-5 holes under the cap to let steam escape. The flaw is that the actual handle is fixed directly above it so the holding handle gets very hot and you can't hold and pour without a rag or cloth to not get burned. Seems like a lazy design, especially in other kettles I've seen and used. Maybe a heat reducing rubber coating would work or moving the holes to the sides of the actual lid and not directly under the handle. I'd expect this type of design in a off brand but not Kitchenaid.
