This AC rocks was near snowing 33c out there appartment is 70f very good deal for the $$$ would buy the 14.5 btu is a second !
Excellent quality, we love Danby. The remote is quite useful, i love the « auto » fonction!
i like the ac. ive had many brands and it was packed well, delivered in excellent condition and it really cools our house well. wish i could get Eco mode to run on low fan setting. For $259 you can beat it.
We absolutely love this air conditioner. It's in our living room window. When the room is cool the unit shuts down and restarts again when needed. I would definitely recommend this air conditioner it works great and was an excellent price.
Delivered fairly quick and works great! Only issue I have is the digital screen, the lights are bright blue and lights up the entire bedroom so I have to cover it with tape to get any sleep.
Pricey, but it does cool the air. Easy to install in the window. doesn't seem like a 12000 btu. I had an 8000 btu before and it seemed better.
Our 36 year old AC was working fine but we decided to replace it with a more energy efficient unit. The overall favorable reviews plus the 2 year warranty swung us to Danby over LG. This new Danby is working about as good as the old unit as far as cooling our downstairs. With the ECO mode on, I thought it would shut off more than is does to save electric (10 minutes every few hours). We'll have to wait to see how much our electric bill will be compared to last summer. The instructions to set it up we felt were a bit complicated, but we did figure it out & have it set to our preference. (We never did get the ambient temperature display to work but perhaps our model doesn't have that feature even though it's stated in the instructions.) Also, the instructions don't mention the pull in/out tab on the front of the unit. I deduced it's the fresh air vent & to keep that closed when using the cooling feature. Overall we've had it running for 2 days now & are satisfied with the unit thus far.
It's loud, but efficient.
It is supposed not to be loud. False. Mostly if you plan to put it in your bedroom
product came damaged and a week late.
