I purchased this to play with my son, since we are both transformers fans, we had a great time assembling the toy, and he likes the fire truck mode very much (like all kids he likes to roll cars). I will purchase all the kreos, I highly recommend them.
I bought this for my 6yr old grandson and he loves it.
I have nothing but good things to say about this product! These Kre-O's have a very "Lego" feel to them this was a big hit with my little lego lover! He uses the box like a briefcase to keep and carry his creations around the house. (We do use zipper-lock baggies so small pieces don't get lost... another Lego habbit at our house.) Unlike regular transformers you have to take the entire creation apart and put it back together to "transform" from robot to vehicle and vis-versa. This is not a problem as building and creating is what makes it fun! I can't really comment on the price (we must have gotten it on sale) except to say, i'm not sure if we could have afforded to pay this much for it. Considering the number of pieces and the size of the creations i guess i got a really good deal!
I am a Transformers fan, but I do not get into Legos. However, after trying out Hasbro's Kreo Transformers, I round up buying the whole set. I sure hope Hasbro continues to make more Kreos!

I bought this for my son and he loves it!! He has it set on his shelf and constantly plays with it
The Transformer theme is what prompted me to buy this product. It is strikingly similar to the Lego product. I ordered this online because it was not yet available in the stores. By the time it arrived, I could have purchased it in the store and for the same price. The bok is quite flimsy and contains several smaller plastic bags with the parts inside. There is no obvious method to how they divided the parts To assemble, you need some parts from each bag, they are not even grouped by similar items. My son is six and this was a bit too complex for him so I decided to build it with him. A lot of parts were missing. Since I opened all the packages, I can be sure, they were not lost. I ended up counting the parts and 28 were missing. Of the pieces that I did have, most went together well but there were areas where things did not fit well. In order to "transform" the you have to take everything apart and start over. With a little creativity, I could just have easily built this with Legos. Unlike with Legos, Kre-O uses stickers on the pieces that having markings on them. The box is definitely not useful for anything once its opened, leading to lost pieces. In the end, I returned this and my son was actually glad to see it go.
