Just as flavorful as I remember
I bought this for my father. We've been looking in all the stores for Buckwheat pancake mix. Finally went online and found it.
I can't find Buckwheat anything at my local grocery stores. I love the texture and the flavor of these!
I enjoy buckwheat pancakes and the mix is difficult to find and pricey. This tasted good and the price was reasonable. Would recommend.
This buckwheat flour makes the best pancakes and waffles. It is so much healthier than white flour and so much more delicious. I don't know how you would use this as drink, so I marked it 'Dislike'. I am not much a cook, though, so if you use it to make a drink I am sure it would be good.
This mix makes delicious, hearty pancakes and muffins made from the recipe on the bag are yummy too!
This stuff is the real deal. I've been looking for old fashioned buckwheat pancake mix. It isn't stocked in the stores any more, and I've tried a couple of varieties from online shopping. The others were more like regular pancake mix. This is what buckwheat pancake mix is supposed to be.
I am pleased to find this from a Walmart vendor. The price with free shipping is a fair price. I mix this with regular pancake mix to make this stuff last longer. Reminds me of my childhood when we could buy Aunt Jemima Buckwheat Pancake Mix at the grocery store.
Good flavor, but the instructions led to a mix that was far too dry and paste like. It took another 1/2 cup + of water for my mix to get to a point where it was pancake batter - even thick pancake batter. I don't "think" I did anything wrong. Very precise measurements were used and it was just unusable at first.
Came out like a soggy sponge. Will try milk instead of water next time.
