When I saw the set in the store I thought I've always wanted stainless steel cookware and the price was just right..I have to say I am very satisfied everything cooks evenly and the strainer cover makes cooking pasta a breeze and the durability and craftsmanship is top notch plus I run them through the dishwasher so easy i would recommend this set to anyone 2 thumbs up!!!
Love the set! Been wanting SS for a while. My last set was non stick and lasted 10 years. It's still in great shape so I have it to my daughter. I will admit it is a little more work to clean but soak in water or use SS cleaner. Not wool pad! I recommend this set!
I bought this set because I love the high gloss finish of stainless steel...it makes my kitchen look good...I can see myself in it..... I try not to cook with it too much because then I've got to clean and polish it..... So I can see myself in it. again
I frequently see folks, reviewing pan sets, complaining that everything sticks, but I can only say w/certainty, they're cooking w/temperatures that are too high.
Each pan has areas after first use that look like the finish is marred, on the inside of the pans. One was used to cook rice and the other to steam cauliflower. I'm disappointed with the pans.
The fry pan(not coated)was used to cook chicken simmering with some butter green chilies which cooked great when done the pan was cooled down and placed in sink when I went to wash it Has black spots at firs thought it got pitted ( and no it was washed by hand not dishwasher) It's not pitted black spots won't come off pan
the FIRST time I used the 3 qt saucepan, the bottom popped. Two burn spots appeared. The pan buckled and wobbled. It was not serviceable. I contacted Cusinart. They are going to replace the pan with another 3 qt, but without the lip.
I was so excited to get new pans. My were 36 years old. They were so shinny and pretty I didn’t want to use them. It’s when I did that I became very disappointed. I have used them very little and I have it’s never been with high heat. Yet everything I put in them leaves a mark. I have used Dawn detergent, washcloth and sponge with soft scrubby. I have rubbed and rubbed with no change. I’ve looked up how to clean them and that’s what I’ve done. Nothing my had been burned in them, so I don’t think I should have to use Barkeepers to get them clean after everytime I use them. As I have said, I was so excited to get the new pans and I gave away my old ones, or I would’ve returned these!! Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone!!
I used the pans for the first time The bottom of the pan has already flaking/stain marks after the first hand wash I'd like to replace but they are so heavy to return. I wish they were better quality Had high hopes !!
I have a cheaper stainless steel set that the stainless steel didn’t chip and some of these pots developed them after one use. Also asked for replacements from cuisinart themselves and they could not get me the same pots. Returned and bought a different brand all together.
