Movie looks amazing on 4k! Reference quality.
A really cool movie about a real tough mountain man.
This movie depicts the essence of the Mountain Man, Trapper of the Northwest of the 1800's and early 1900's. Hugh Glass was a childhood hero of mine, a mentor of mine in my early years. I was inspired by reading books about his life to hunt, fish, trap and become a true outdoorsman. I dreamed of moving to Alaska or the Northwest U.S. and live like he and many others did. I managed to do everything except to move. Still very inspiring and a very real depiction of the life and times of the Mountain Man.

One of my favorite movies. Worth owning to watch again and again. Leanardo Dicaprio's best movie since Titanic.
A compelling story of survival, revenge, exploitation of the natural resources of North America, as well as the depiction of the prejudices against the indigenous peoples by American pioneers and trappers and European colonists alike. Memorable characters, extraordinary landscapes and musical score.
Great movie! Full of action.
Wow! Ordered via Walmart.com with the expectation that we would receive the order in a few days. What a surprise when the order was delivered the same day! And, the cost of the 4K DVD at Walmart.com was lower than Amazon and Best Buy. Great job Walmart!
The 4k disc looks so much better than I remember when watching it in the theaters. This is a visually stunning movie, and each scene is very well put together with an incredible amount of detail. Unfortunately, this was not released with an Atmos mix, but the 7.1 DTS-HD sounded pretty good in my setup.
Very great visuals/reference quality 4K! Story is OK.
