I have really enjoyed using the charcoal face wash. My skin feels smooth and detoxed. It cleanses it and prepares it nicely for the truskin vitamin C serum that I use daily, along with the eye cream and vitamin C moisturizer.Thank you for making this wonderful product and I will definitely be ordering it again in the future!
I first want to say this company by far has the best customer service I have ever had, and Erica is the BEST !!! I have been using the charcoal cleanser for a couple of weeks, and my first thought was,this is messy and hard to get out of the bottle as it is so thick,but the way my skin feels after I use this is so worth the little inconvenienceMy skin feels so clean and is brighter, it is also making my pores seem smaller .The smell is very refreshing and a little goes a long way.I use other products from this company and they are all great!!
My wife and I have tried quite a few charcoal skincare products. Remember those peel-off masks that practically take your skin off with them? That was a fun afternoon... We purchased this cleanser after loving all the other TruSkin products, because they are very high quality. As a man, I'm not embarrassed to have this in my shower. It has a scent, but it's very nice, not like perfume. Essential oils maybe? The texture is not gritty or sandy like the other charcoal products. It's thick and a little goes a long way. They use charcoal in water filters to eliminate impurities in waters, so why wouldn't it effectively clean your skin? My pores look smaller already, and I've only used it a few times. We love it!!
I really like the new charcoal face wash! My face feels really good after I use it. I use it at night when I`m not rushed because I like to leave it on for a few minutes to enjoy the full effect. I have use charcoal products, so the charcoal color was not a surprise, but because of the color, I do use a (bamboo and sugar cane) paper towel to rinse it off vs. my bamboo baby washcloths I use on my face. Thanks for the new face wash!
I was very excited to try this face wash and it did not disappoint. It smells great and my face feels invigorated after I use it. I was initially put off by the small bottle size, but you only need a tiny amount, so it will last longer than I thought. I`ll definitely be reordering when I run out.
This is the latest addition to my TruSkin Naturals collection and I absolutely LOVE it! As I age my skin becomes thinner, however I`m still prone to small blackheads and white heads in some areas and dry skin in others. If I dare remove a blackhead or scrub at the dead skin, my skin will literally tear no matter how gentle I am. No worries anymore because this Charcoal cleanser has helped remove the blackheads, white heads and dry skin. And I`m still on my first bottle! My skin also feels smoother and firmer.You cannot go wrong trying any of the TruNaturals product. I think you`ll love it but if not, their customer service is unparalleled.
Scent is strong, unique, but not unpleasant - lingers on hands. Black charcoal requires thorough rinse or it will end up on your towel. Seems to pull everything off your face, including oils. Seems like it would work will for oily acne prone areas. Results in very clean and smooth face. Recommendations for a related product line toner and moisturizer would be good. Maybe even package together.
I bought other products from TruSkin and was very happy with them, but this charcoal face wash didn`t work for me. My face and neck started breaking out after several washes. I`m sure it`s a great product, but I have a very "difficult" skin combination - hormonal acne prone, sensitive combination type and it`s very hard to find a product that works. Serums from TruSkin work very well at controlling beak outs, but this face wash didn`t work for me, although I had high hopes for it.
It was as so thick it's hard to get it out out the container. It just sucks it right back in. It doesn't have a bad scent that I noticed. I've only used about 5 times because it's so hard to get out . It does seem to make my skin feel softer.
This is a good cleanser, but it can really dry out your skin; and my skin is EXTREMELY oily, so be careful. I would probably not recommend for dry or sensitive skin. There are probably better charcoal cleansers out there. Would probably not buy again.
