I bought this for my vortex Razor HD spotting scope I have some projects I'm working on. It works is all I can say. But getting my phone hooked up correctly is still under investigation. Like I said it works so it's good enough for now an it didn't break the bank

I bought this IPhone adapter for my Bushnell North Star telescope so that several of my grandchildren can see what I am viewing with the telescope at the same time. In the past, kids looking through the reticle would bump the telescope trying to see what was in the reticle, and that would upset the viewing angle causing me to have to relocate the object in the telescope reticle. Now they can just look at the IPhone screen to see what I am viewing without touching the telescope. The mount is robust enough to hold my phone in place for precise focusing, and it was easy to set up. I added some balance weights to the opposite end of the telescope tube to keep the tube in balance so that the electronics could properly drive the telescope with the added weight of the IPhone. Some tire balance weights held in place with rubber bands allowed me to perfectly balance the telescope tube allowing the electronic drive to move the telescope without slipping the drive clutches. Now I just need a warm enough night to try it all out.
Fits my spotting scope nice and tight. Also fits my monocular too. Holds my phone even with it's bulky case.
It's a good product just that it's not universal. Had to apply a different technique to fit my binoculars.
I found this adapter to be easier to use than some other inexpensive phone holders. The piece that grips to the telescope lens is a little clunky and the phone holder isn't as secure as I like, but the adapter does really help to hold my phone flat and steady against the eyepiece. That makes aiming the phone camera through the eyepiece a lot easier. You still need to adjust the eyepiece relief and overall focus, but those controls are on your telescope, not this adapter. You probably won't get a full frame image in your phone's camera app unless you do some digital zooming to fill out the frame.
Not bad works as good as expected. Had issues Aligning but not fault of product.Focusing was tricky because I was trying to focus binoculars and I phone was trying to focus at the same time. It over all a good product just needs some getting use to.
