I brought this product home and my wife's eyes lit up. She had been wanting to try this SleepSack on our son. It fit perfectly and kept him warm at night. The first night he had it on he slept 13 hours. If only they made one that fit me i would not have to fight for the covers.
This sleep sack is adorable! The material is soft and warm without being too warm. I wish the images were a little clearer and brighter colored. I have the llama print. It's very gender neutral and would work with any nature or boho nursery theme. I love that baby can sleep in this and stay warm, while being safe and comfortable. Baby's arms are free to move around, use their hands to self-soothe, and most importantly push up or move if they roll onto their tummy and their face is compressed. The size range is great on these sleep sacks too. I LOVE the inverted zipper on these! What a life saver! Never had these with my first few kiddos. It's genius! Baby stays warm while doing diaper changes! Plus, it's just easier overall with changing diapers with the inverted zipper. Also, you don't have to worry about the zipper poking baby's chin or neck. Overall, this is a nice quality product and I would recommend it for anyone with a new baby. Hope this review helps you decide!
I was offered a sleep sack from spark reviewing. having always wanted to try it, I ordered one. I was surprised at the quality and the size. my fears had been that they would be too tight and constricting. however this was not the case. my babies are 14 months and usually wear size 18 month shirt. this particular product sent to me was a size medium for 6-12 months and was still quite large and rolmy for my baby (see pictures for size comparison). I am so pleased I plan on buying another one for her twin! this is much better than the blankets they kick off all night.
My girls are only 10 1/2 months apart so bed time is a challenge. This sack is amazing it's so soft on the skin and keeps my baby warm. It snuggles her when I have to put my other child to sleep and can't hold both at the same time. She sleeps so much better with this sleep sack on!
This little wearable blanket is a great way to get a piece of mind at night knowing that it won't cover your child's face so you can get some sleep. Also its great at keeping your children warm enough to get some sleep and they feel like there being held instead of wearing a blanket so it's definitely a great blanket to own
This fits my little one with room to grow. The material is very soft and comfortable for her skin. There was no shrinking when washed, the sleep sack kept it's shape and softness. My little one looks so adorable and comfortable in this, I will have to find more with other patterns.
I love this sleep sack. One thing in particular that I like is that it isn't too thick, just one layer of fleece, which is nice for warmer weather. The box says it's for 6-12 months and up to 24 lbs. I tried it on an 11 month old who weighs 20lbs and is 28in tall, it fit well and he definitely had some room to grow in it. The pattern is cute and it's very soft. The zipper runs from top to bottom instead of bottom to top, eliminating zipper pinches and easy diaper access.
I definitely recommend this brand of sleep sack/blankets. I've used a few different brands and I what I like about HALO is the location of the zipper! It's genius. They've put the zipper at the bottom (when closed). All of the other sleep sacks I've used the zipper is at the top, I always worried the zipper would bother my daughter in her sleep or shed unzip it herself. But with this design that won't be an issue. It is also handy for nighttime diaper changes. This style is fleece fabric, making it soft and perfect for colder weather. It's sleeveless allowing air flow to prevent overheating. I love it.
Review of Halo Sleep Sack. This is a micro fleece material. It is 100% polyester. The print I got was the llama print as you can see in the picture. This is made in China. This has an inverted zipper meaning that it is zips open from bottom to top. The box says that this is to make diaper changes easier. It is sleeveless. The description says it is “Recognized as " hip healthy" by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute. The purpose of this product is to replace a blanket that would normally go over a baby in a crib. This would help prevent kicking a blanket off if your baby kicks blankets. This is for safety reasons so the baby does not suffocate in the blanket, but also for comfort so that the baby does not kick a blanket off and get cold. Since this is sleeveless a baby could wear their regular pajamas and then wear this over it. The description also says that the sleeveless design helps reduce the risk of overheating. I did however get the wrong size. I got the 6 to 12 months size, but my baby is only 3 months old. So it's important to note that you buy the correct size for your baby, so that the item is not too big to use. Overall 4 out of 5 stars.
I received the medium Halo sleepsack as part of the spark reviewer program, it's micro-fleece and it's not as heavy as fleece pajamas but my little guy runs hot so it's still a bit to thick for him but the material is thin but feels durable, it's a nice size and very cute designs. The medium size is for 6-12m 26-30 inches 66- 76cm 16-24lbs 7-11kg If you baby likes to roll around and doesn't get hot easier and you wanna make sure they don't get their legs stuck then this would be perfect, since with this product you can make sure their legs don't get stuck and all without using crib bumpers with we all know are not safe
