Headboard is very pretty and sturdy. Overall the bed is perfect and worth every penny. Bought for my 6 year old in size full and she just loves it and it matches her room perfectly
This bed is fantastic, i love it. My husband and I bought it because we needed a new bed, quick. This fit both of our tastes, and we enjoy it. It is very sturdy, and definately worth the money! My husband put it together himself, there were no chips or scrates [which you expect from shipping] and it arrived in less than a week. The only thing i would suggest, is going to home depot to purchase a peice of sturdy wood, to use instead of the slates even though theyre fine right now, we dont know how long they will last. Other than that, this is probably the best bed we've owned =)
Very nice and stylish bed for the price. Was not to hard to put together and its very sturdy. I think this is the best bed that you can get for the price.
The headboard is much more solid than the frame and looks great. It offers great support when sitting up, and isnt too low or too high. Its everything I needed from a headboard.
bought this bed for my daughter. she loves it. was very difficult to assemble but did not require many tools. definitely hated the strange screws that went in the four corners and the instructions had poor representations of the actual screws and dowels. the interlocking pin took me forever to figure out, but, even with the screw thingy somewhat stripped, the bed is frame is very stable and the pieces were very well packaged. no pieces were damaged and everything listed was included. it looks just as displayed on the website and is a good value for the money.
Purchased this bed when I priced out shipping from one I liked on Ikea's website and coulld not find a platform one in my conservative, midwest city. The bed arrived ahead of it's expected arrival date and packaged very well. My husband and I have put together multiple items from Ikea and were familiar with assembling via pictures. A reminder to pay special attention to any instruction that is specifically pictured with an additional bigger inset picture helps make the assembly a breeze. Overall very pleased with the bed and do not think it looks as inexpensive as it was. A perfect fit for a guest bedroom
I bought this for my son's room, is very easy to put together and very nice color. I would recommend this to anyone.
it was pretty easy to assemble. and its true you dont need any power tools thats how simple it is to put together. its not to fancy but its not to plain. it goes well with everything, its comfortable, and if you like simple then this is the bed for you guaranteed. :)
Using a drill (which is not recommended in the directions) made this final step go much quicker than doing it by hand. So my tip is to go ahead and use a power drill for the frame, as well. You need someone to hold the pieces while someone else attaches them.
The bed is beautiful and easy to assemble. Considering how inexpensive it is, I was expecting something nice but not of astounding quality. I would say the bed has been just that. It's beautiful to look at and it gives any room a very sleek feel, but one can tell that it's not as study as other beds that are made of all-wood. It's a good bed to buy for temporary housing (i.e. if you're going to college or graduate school and will have it for 4 years) but I wouldn't expect it to work for someone who is looking for something more permanent.
