this dresses is very nice looking and sturdy. It was simple to put together with easy instructions and came with everything needed. I have bought other furniture from Kmart for the same price and this Walmart dresses looks so much more expensive. It looks like furniture you would pay hundrends more for in a real furniture store. I will continue to buy my childrens furniture from walmart as I already bought the matching bed and night stand.
The delivery was very fast we ordered on Thursday it arrived Monday via standard delivery. It took me about an hour to put it together. Looks just like the image and its very sturdy should last for many years unless my boys destroy it. It's for our 7 & 5 year old to share ( socks, undys and t-shirts..etc) I think the price is right for this furniture and it gets the job done. It's not Raymour and Flanigan , but it works for us!!
I absolutely love this chest! It looks amazing in my boys room. If I had to point out a downfall at all it would be the hassle of putting it together. I pride myself on being able to assemble furniture, and if you have ever ordered anything from ikea you would know they are the worst. I worked on this chest for about two hours and got so frustrated I had to walk away. The next day my maintenance guy helped me finish it and he had no problem what so ever. So maybe it was just me! I bought the matching bunk beds which are also amazing and much easier to assemble. I want the 3 drawer dresser, but I have noticed it has been taken of the website and I'm afraid it's been discontinued :/ If your looking for a great looking chest that is durable, then you should definently purchase this product.
Dresser looks really nice in our sons room. Was hoping the color would have been a bit darker. There were several pieces that the coating was coming off but they were pieces that can't be seen so we didn't take it back. The drawers are pretty small in depth. Overall it is nice.
After reading many disappointing reviews, I chose to order the chester anyway since I previously bought the bunk bed that it matches. Like many of the reviews stated, the drawers will not stay in line, and every time my 8 yr old goes to get something out the last 3 drawers they come off track. We have only had the dresser a little over a month and is not getting better. It is not worth $200.00 although the appearance looks great with the bed until anyone goes to open the drawers. I am contemplating on returning, however, do not want to go through the hassle.
When we sat the dresser upright, one of the 6" legs broke off and busted out corner of bottom MDF panel. Emailed Dorsel Asia and asked for new bottom panel D replacement, they were responsive . I gave them the SKU and product code purchased, my address. Company sent new panel, took 2 weeks. The new panel is not manufactured/drilled the same with all the holes as first panel. Now I must contact again, start over and see if we can get the correct panel D to repair furniture piece and see if they want to pick up the wrong panel that was shipped and reship correct panel. Meanwhile, I don't have use of the dresser.
The chest is beautiful. It took awhile to put together. The drawers are small, but perfect for smaller children clothes. After putting it together and attempting to move the chest, one of the legs broke off. My husband was able to repair it with the purchase of additional screws and other supplies. It is perfect for my son's room and matches the bunkbeds purchased at Walmart.
the draws kept falling down when you opened them, had it less than a week and returned it to the store, when the associate took it out of my SUV it fell apart completely. Ordered the matching bed a while ago and absolutely love it, I have not idea what was wrong with the dresser,
Spent hours putting it together and when I finally did the back leg buckled (within 5 min of completion) and broke causing to almost fall on my child. The chest was empty so don't even know how it would hold contents inside.
I found the dresser going together rather well and was pleased with the quality....until I had it all together, looking good, ready to be used. That's when I attempted to move it into its place....and two of the legs snapped off when they bumped the floor! I had lifted it up to move it and just nicked the floor with the legs...it was unbelievable that they snapped off like that! It was as if the bottom panel were made of cork or balsa, too weak to support the dresser. I was very angry at the situation having spent two hours putting it together only to have it break upon completion, but I am glad it broke now rather than later when it was being used!
