My Huawei Raven has been great overall. I love the big screen and the look of the phone. The camera is not too great, but does take rad panoramas. and has cool filters too. Lots of app options in the Play store. It does everything I need. I'm still learning about all it can do. The speakerphone is only so-so. 4 out of 5 stars.
A little to get used to after an I phone but getting to where I love it just as much with slot lower cost. A+
Had a problem with data service once I got the phone but through a phone call to Straight Talk Customer service, they fixed the problem. Wonderful phone to use. Love the size of the screen, 5.5 inches.
I have had my Huawei Raven lte now for 6 months. At first I loved this phone. It was the perfect size and it was fast. Now I am ready to use it as a hockey puck because that is all is good for. Reasons as follows: 1) a month ago the mic decides that it's not going to work right in the middle of a phone call with my boss and hasn't worked since. Mic also does not work when shooting video either. 2) Now for the one that makes me want to see how far I can throw it. Well 5 days ago my phone now decides that it will send my text messages when it feels like it thats could be right away or 24 hours later. Receiving texts now that's a little different see I still have not gotten some texts that people sent me 2 days ago. If someone calls me I might answer and I might not. It depends on weather or not my phone wants to let the calls come through. 3) apps won't open and sometimes lock the phone up so I have to force reboot it. Now I have gone through the whole factory reset oh about 3 times now. The phone will work great for about 4-6 hours then it reverts right right back to the same issues.
I have had this phone for 3 weeks. All of a sudden it wont take a charge. Its never been dropped and always kept in a case, so I'm not understanding why it just wont charge. Called straight talk and they were no help. The only option they gave me was to send my phone to them (at my cost) no reimbursement for the two weeks I have left on my phone time (bc they said it takes two weeks for them to send me a replacement) on top of that the replacement was a refurbished phone. just trying so save someone from the headache I am going through.
You never really know if it's a random glitch or a constant problem sometimes with new electrics so with this phone a few bugs wasn't raising any flags. I've only had it 3 weeks and I hate it. Unfortunately Walmarts return policy for electronics is 15 days. So I'm out all my money. The maps doesn't work right. The key pad will minimise at random. Just loading Google took more than 30 seconds one day. This phone is garbage. Buyer beware.
