Last two cell phones have been Huawei models. I do not need to impress anyone with a "name brand" phone that can do exactly what other phones can do. I haven't experienced anything that someone else with a Samsung 7 hasn't at the same location...example. we were both at a location that was dead air...no signal. I paid $50 for mine pus $50 unimited data etc., and she paid $399 (two year contract, $145 per month ) for hers. Some people think its the phone...educate yourself people its not the phone its usuay the carrier. Gee which phone would you pay for??
I highly recommend this phone over an expensive phone I'm overly satisfied I didn't think it was of good quality for $20 bucks just get a memory card the memory is low.
This phone has a nice big screen. As long as you don't load apps slowing the phone down, it's a good phone. Comes with all the Google apps so there is plenty to do. Functions are pretty basic. Battery life is good. Browser is good speed. Just make sure you don't put many apps on it. Basically 1 or 2 smaller apps is all it can handle.
purchased as a replacement for my moto e. didn't want to spend too much $. like the big screen and picture quality. only dislike is the speaker location on back of phone. very difficult to hear if it in public. other than that no complaints.
I've had this phone for a little over 2 months . I'm still learning it's features. I've only downloaded a couple of apps and one of them is a game. I keep trying to figure out what to do because my phone now says about every few days that phone is close to storage capacity. I just moved those apps to my SD card, so maybe it's fixed now. My volume is really low even when I push it all the way to max. I may have to install a volume increasing app, but I've got to first figure out the storage issues. Outside of this my phone seems to function well. Battery holds charge well too. I really like my phone. Nice 5" screen size and movies and pictures are crisp and clear outside of my issues with low volume. Camera works great. When watching movies or tv I have to wear earphones. I also have to wear earphones to enjoy the radio.
I loose service everywhere. There's a delay opening on everything. Always says I have low memory with only 2 apps. Worst buy and so not worth go much it cost!
This is the second phone I purchased, as I broke the first one. I have had the hardest time getting it activated. As with the first one I believe the problem is that they don't scan at the register so they don't acknowledge that the sims card is valid. This is the second time they have had to mail me a sims card before activating the phone. I've had over a week and still no new phone. But the phone is very user friendly and easy to use. My 69 year old aunt even got one and find it easy to use.
Says this phone works in my area and it gets one bar in a window... Already got a new one hated the service its T-Mobile tower and doesn't work in the sticks
The phone was no good and i had to go back to walmart and buy more phone and then had to send these back to get my money back so make sure you check everthing frist before y ou buy online.
Size, screen and functions are all nice. Storage or lack thereof and signal strength are the downsides to this phone. Just like other reviews here, you cannot download more than a couple apps. I've disabled ones that I don't use but it tells me daily that there's not enough internal memory space. Group messages and sometimes pictures won't be able to be received. I have a 16 GB sd card and it's hardly used because of how the phone works. My phone signal strength has diminished a great deal with this one. I've had straighttalk for at least 5 years and this is the first to have such a problem! Good basic phone for those who don't use apps.
