Bought this doll for my daughter and she loves it. Colors are very beautiful and bright. It's a doll fit for a princess. My daughter has lots of collector barbie's and this is so far the best barbie doll. You won't be disapointed if you purchased it. My daughter was speechless for 5 seconds when I gave it to her, and then she did a happy dance, before taking it and putting it on her shelf.
beautiful doll in a gown suitable for Paris runways. A superb souvenier for Barbie's 50th anniversary.
I just received the doll that I'm going to give to my 6 year old for Christmas. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I think Target and Toys R Us are selling it for $50, so I definitely feel like I got a bargain. I don't agree with the previous poster about the doll being ugly. She definitely has a different look than most other barbies...her eyes are more slanted, her eyebrows are longer, and her skin is darker than most black barbies, but that's what I like, that she's unique. Anyway, my daughter already saw it in Target, and she loved it, so I know she'll be thrilled to add it to her barbie collection.
This is one of the ugliest dolls that I've ever purchased from Mattel. The only reason for the purchase - she was part of the 50th anniversary of barbie. Way overpriced. If she hadn't been part of the 50th anniversary she'd still be on the shelf.
