Had this same remote for years. Dog chewed a few buttons off and still worked.
I have a Westinghouse TV, Sony Blu-ray home theater system and a Channel Master DVR. Entered the model numbers and the commands automatically downloaded with remote attached to computer, pretty impressive. Logitech is the only universal remote I could find to control the Channel master (after LOTS of research). LCD display is nice touch. Remote looks like new. Package included usb cable but no batteries or manual (its all online anyway). Highly recommend this unit!!
Purchased to help non-AV savvy friends navigate all of their inputs easily. Logitech has done a lot to streamline the setup (products database, suggested activities).. but once set up the user experience between the app and the remote are quite confusing. There are also errors in the database for the cable box that I had that wouldn't allow it to properly power on.. and you CAN'T edit your inputs through the GUI to fix. Setting up a ticket to Logitech for help resolving the issue w/ the device gets a vanilla response that says "have you tried deleting and readding the device?). They need to allow low level capability to correct issues like this in each deployment. The remote feels nice, but for 2019 the LCD on the top looks very 2009. There are no other competing products, and when the Harmony works it works.. but it's operability is fragile, and I worry about non tech-savvy individuals having to debug issues that arise. #sweepstakes
