This Honey Can Do 4-Shelf Steel Storage Shelving Unit, Multicolor is so much more than I expected when I chose it for my Spark Review item. We are so impressed! My husband and I are now trying to decide exactly where to put it! There are so many options. I had originally thought it would go in the garage to hold tools, boxes and miscellaneous items. Now that we have it, and have put it together we are undecided where it will go-in the garage or inside of the house! I never expected the shelving to be this gorgeous! We can get so much more out of our space with the Honey Can Do 4-Tier Shelving! The shelving is made with industrial-quality powder-coated steel, it is sturdy and rust-resistant. This shelving unit has a weight capacity of 350 lbs. The adjustable shelves allow us to change the configuration to suit our storage needs. It looks so nice, it would look good in any room in the house or garage. You can also combine multiple units to create a customized storage wall. With the no-tool assembly my husband had the shelf together in less than 30 minutes. This item is available in different colors. I got the silver unit. It is sturdy, durable and so convenient! We truly are having a hard time deciding where exactly to put it! Besides keeping tools and things organized in the garage, it would look lovely in the kitchen with different things on it, pots and pans, a blender, cook books, etc! In the bathroom, with towels, tissues, etc. We both are so pleased with this Honey Can Do 4-Shelf Steel Storage Shelving Unit! I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
I received the Honey Can Do 4-Shelf Steel Storage Shelving Unit (chrome) to review. The parts of the shelf are made of steel. The shelf has a weight capacity of 350lbs. The directions to put the shelf together is a little confusing but one can easily put the shelf together by looking at the pictures. The shelf is about 4 feet tall. The length of the shelf is about 24”w x 14”H. You can adjust the distance between each shelf but you need to plan before putting the pieces together, as the shelves are held by clips. I read somewhere online that you can add rollers/casters and I think there is a parts number for the item. This unit is good for books, clothing, toys, etc. You can put bins on the shelves and hide your clutter. Overall, it appears durable and easy to clean. It is not too heavy so you can move it to where ever necessary. It's great for a dorm room!
Delivered in good shape and a day earlier than promised. This is a good, sturdy shelving unit that will outlast me.
So happy I got a chance to check out these steel shelving units I just love them. Super easy to wipe down. They seem very sturdy and take up way less space than those bulky plastic types. We are remodeling our home and these will be very handy while we get the job done. I will be purchasing a few more! When we're done with them in the house they will go to there forever home in the garage!
We wanted to replace an old, sagging shelf in our pantry with something wider and taller. We also thought that open wire shelves would let in more light to the lower levels to see things better. This filled the need very nicely. I have assembled industrial-grade shelves at work like these. The quality of manufacture was equivalent to those which cost much more. Assembly is quite easy and requires no tools! A clever tapered bushing holds the shelf in place and position is adjustable in one inch increments. Don't bother paying for fast shipping. We took the free option and they arrived 2 days early.
I love these Honey Can Do storage shelving units. This is my third one. I have a larger one and a smaller one. This one is 14”X24”X48”. I use these in the basement for storage since I can't have wood storage units because my basement leaks. This unit was easy to put together, it took maybe 20 minutes. The shelves are easily adjustable. I'm using this one to hold board games and crafts. These are great!
Nice shelf and looks good. But, putting this together was confusing. Black plastic sleeves were not big enough to go completely around poles in the little slits that determine shelf spacing. They kept opening and slipping off during assembly which was very frustrating. Although there is a little tab on each side of the two halves that go together, they simply did not reach each other to fully secure into the little slots. These must break easily too, because they sell them as replacements and are readily found. I got it together anyway, after struggling for an hour. Now I just have to see if this will hold up under use for items in my garage. Shelf is suppose to hold up to 350 lbs. Open wire shelves look like it will be easy to clean too if need be.
I ordered these shelves cause they were the size and style I wanted to place plants on in my sunroom. When I opened the box to start assembling them, I noticed there were no poles included. So I returned them to Walmart, got my money back, and ordered them again thinking that someone had just messed up when packing them. Well, guess what? Got the same result with the second order. No poles! Waste of my time and effort.
