My son who is 9 yrs. old, got it about two weeks ago and he still plays with it. He likes this toy more the than the other Transformer toys we have purchased. What I liked about it, is ordering the Frenzy was it was very easy to do, I ordered under ship to store, and I loved the fact I didn't have to pay shipping and handling.
This is the one Transformer my 6 year old son wanted for Christmas. It wasn't until I sat down with him and started transforming him into the radio that I saw how cool this one is. It is by far the best Transformer we have and we have quite a few. I would recommend it to anyone who collects. All the parts just fit together perfectly and he shoots a CD which boys always love.
My son is a huge Transformers fan. He especially likes this character. He loved this figure. It is a little difficult to transform and it is definitely fragile, but after a few tries it gets easier.
My 4 yr old son loves this toy! He has been wanting Frenzy for about six months now. We found it online only at Walmart. The price was right ($10) and he can transform the toy all by himself. At first, it was very confusing to transform and my son would become frustrated but after I showed him how to transform it, he loves it. It looks good as a radio and it shoots a disc out in both robot and radio modes.
Nice value for the price. Maybe a little difficult for a 5 or 6 year to morph the boom box to a robot and back.
This is a very "cool" toy. It is a little tricky - even for mom or dad to turn it into a radio, but my son sure thinks it is neat !!!
Although my 5 yr old liked it very much, the adults had trouble figuring out how to transform it. Once it was figured out the 5 yr old still struggled with it. We'll see as time goes by if it captures his attention.
This is so difficult to "transform." Our son is constantly asking us to transform it, and it's difficult for even an adult to do.
This should not be a toy does not convert easily from one to the other. My 5 yr old has a hard time changing this item. Arms and legs fall off fairly easily. They do snap back on but as you are changing their appearance they will come apart.
Got this for my 5 year old, he started trying to transform it by himself and got stuck halfway. My husband took over and got it back into 'robot mode' but could never quite get it into 'radio mode'. It's one thing for the little one not to be able to transform it, but when they can stump a grown man...it's just too hard.
