This is a great set of mechanical pencils. Not super heavy duty but look like they will last a while. They have an easy to use side advance that works really well. These also come with extra erasers and lead. The lead that comes with it is good for line work but too light for writing. You would need to use HB lead if you want to use these for pencils.
My daughter said they are easy to control in her hand, they write easily. Smooth. The erasers last long. And, for the price, they give a very generous amount of lead. It came with a container of extra lead. The lead that comes in the pencils is also great. It lasts a long time. She hasn't even had to use the extra yet.
Who knew I could love a mechanical pencil so much. These are easy to use. The erasers work great. No smudges. It's very comfortable in my hand when using. The side clicker pushes out the pencil lead perfectly. I use it for everything from a grocery list to my bookkeeping. They come 6 in a pack so they should last a long time. If you use pencils for anything, these are a good purchase!
Nothing to bad to say about the Pen+Gear Mechanical Pencils. We are using them daily for work and our music composing, shopping lists, ETC. Refillable and the 6 count comes with 3 leads already installed, and extra leads for when those run out. Extra erasers as well. The only downfall problem we have had is breaking the lead inserts when writing. They are thin. But no thinner then any other brand we have used. Simple fix is don't write to hard. This problem is not worth knocking off stars for.
I love these mechanical pensions because they write so smoothly. They have a nice grip and they come in rainbow colors. They come with an extra set of lead and a replacement eraser of each color which is nice so that they will last a long time. You push up the pencil lead by clicking on a little button on the top of the pencil instead of the eraser. The eraser comes out as normal for lead reload. The have a clip in case you need to clip it to a notebook.
I love these pencils they are easy to write with and I like the fact they come with extra erasers and lead. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who needs pencils.
These mechanical pencils write smooth and are easy to use. They provide you with the lead needed to refill the pencils as well as extra erasers. The lead is 0.7mm so it is good for general writing and drawing. The pencil comes with a grip at the end so it doesn't slip out of your hands when you use it. I enjoy the many colors that this pack comes with (lead is the same just adds a bit of flair to a basic writing tool). Pencils are easy to refill with the lead. The pencils are plastic, but sturdy and they are comfortable in the hand. I use regular wooden pencils normally and these perform about the same, without the hassle of having to sharpen them. Overall, this is a great basic product.
Honestly, these are just too fine for my writing skills because I press down WAY too hard when I write so it immediately causes the lead tip to break off. With that said though, my son totally prefers these to all other mechanical pencils because of the fine leads. He says "the finer the better" but geez, I do not understand that at all being a "Catholic Schoo" born and raised kind of girl! I was trained to hold and press the pencil down a certain way thus causing these very fine pencil tips to just break. I find these pencils way too fragile for my skills but to eaches own. I do like the variety of colors and the fact that these are refillable given the crazy costs of just everything! Anyway, my son will find these very useful for back to school and the price was very affordable!
I love the fun bright colors of these pencils. They come with extra erasers (you could interchange the pencil color with a mix or match eraser color) as well as some lead refills. I also liked the button to release more lead close to the writing tip. What I didn't love was the feel of the lead against the paper. It felt like the lead slipped off the paper rather than felt like it gripped and wrote easily-it took too much effort to get writing. I tried writing for a while to see if it was just a bad patch of lead, but it continued to feel more scratchy than write-y.
I use mechanical pencils all the time and I do like the 0.7 mm as the lead does not break as easy when writing. The Pencils have a rubber grip built in to them. Which is not very rubbery. It does not feel as fat as a lot of the other mechanical pencils that I use. The rubber part is kind of slippery and it is up a little higher than most grips. The white part of the pencil is narrow and it is a bit slippery. With the rubbery part not having a very testured feel to it when holding it your finger slide easily and it is not as easy to hold on to the pencil. For some reason the lead stays sharp and does not seem to wear down like most leads and it feels like you are writing with a pin a times. Normally it wears down and glides easier. The pencils come in a pack of 6 with 6 extra erasers, and a pack lead. The pencils are easy to fill and the clicker on the side of the pencil is easy to use to advance the lead. This would not be my first choice for a mechanical pencil.
