[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the classic color. This is my 2nd purchase of Staub. I chose this one over coccote this time. I find the bottom shape easier to stir into. So happy with this purchase knowing that I can hand this down to my daughter and possibly last a lifetime.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You basically can go from stove top to oven and not have to use aluminum foil it basts the food beautifully enhancing the flavor it is a one pot meal. It is a beautiful piece of cookware
My wife has been looking forward to having one of these for a long time. We both grew up around farm style cooking and love stews and roasts. This French Oven is beautiful and works great. She made some fabulous Hungarian Goulash in it last weekend. One pot that cleans up quickly. It is a really beautiful utensil.
Bought it a month ago and been using it for cooking soups, mussels, pasta sauce. It's amazing! It keeps the heat inside and seems like cooking is faster than usual. Of course, it's beautiful in my stove too.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best oven ever. I love it. Non stick so very easy to cook risotto or French brioche for exemple! Recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In love with the French oven. Just like what my mom used to use. Feels like home. One of our favorite gifts from our registry.
This French Oven is one of my most used pots in the kitchen, almost daily. Cleans easily, higher ends prevent splashes when frying meats
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this pot and have been wanting it for awhile. I love the weight but frustrated the lid has a yellow spot and inside looks to hAve white splatter paint.
White is only available in the USA I got it shipped to the UK even though I can see France from the beach!! Terrible quality white overspray on the black coating inside I thought it was dust. It wasn't. The white enamel under the handles is patchy and the black metal of the pan shows through and looks cheap. I don't like leaving bad reviews but for the cost it's unacceptable. Waiting to here from customer services in USA and Europe. We live in a global market place why do colours have to be unavailable in Europe when they are made there. Just senseless!!! This has put me off making further purchases.
The Zwilling website says "This product may have minor visual imperfections, though this will not affect the product's performance. This may include discoloration, blemishes, or chips that have been enameled over." The item I received had larger than pea sized chip right on the edge of the grenadine oven which had been enameled over to highlight the chipped area as cherry red. The lid was scratched right under the name "Staub". Yes the oven is useable but 90% of the value of this product is using it on the table to serve. Now all my guests can see these "minor imperfections".
